Love to get a few
Awesome looking fly, Cheech!
Wow awesome pattern cheech.thanks for sharing!!👍
Neat use of the foam!
I have been watching this channel for awhile now and I decided I had to go check out the fly fish food store and it is the most amazing fly shop I have ever been to!!!! Amazing store I had to buy some Fettuccine foam
Sweet profile
Yes, thanks for the redirect.
Awesome fly.Canada love to fly fish and tie baits
Another masterpiece sir. As a side note its a good thing the covid infections are way down cos there's been a massive increase in ER visits with super glue mishaps. Funny thing all have black foam sandwiched at the connection. 🤔
Nice hat!
That is a great purple ren vice
Awesome fly!
This fly’s body reminds me of the head of the “knuckle sandwich” streamer that was featured in the latest fly Tyler’s issue!
Really like this one, Cheech. First I've heard of fettuccini foam though. We've got the Xers coming here. I sure hope they're more prolific than 2004.
Nice pattern, thanks guys! I do a cicada for my local Aussie bass, one thing I've found is that it's important to have dubbing or chenille around the under body to soak up some water and sit lower in the film like you have done. A lot of cicada patterns that are just foam sit too high, so when the fish hit them they knock the fly out of the way as it's too light and buoyant. Better hook up rate if it's a bit lower and heavier in my experience, not sure if the same applies to trout. :)
nice
Totally different style fly. I understand what you’re saying about the Fettuccine foam.
My man Cheech! Looks like a pot scrubber before the trim.
Another Cheech masterpiece. As soon as you guys get the Sybai flat wire in stock to sell, I'll be done to get some as well as the Fettuccine Foam and whatever else catches my eye in your great fly shop. If Cheech is around, I'll try to remember to show him what I do with the videos of flies that I want to tie. On this Cicada, would adding some red eyes be worth the effort?
Love the tying vids! Would you be so kind to share info on the camera and lens used to produce the close ups of the flies? Less interested in camera used to video Cheech, if different. As in not interested at all. 😉
Cheech, you rock! But I was surprised you did NOT utilize that multi-tool to tighten up the black ice dub. Was that because the fly by design should have looser fibers on its underside? I ask because I have not ever seen a cicada where I live.
You really could do it either way. I wanted to build up bulk on this one so I opted not to use it.
How did you keep your fingers from not being glued together? Is that a new kind of superglue?
Most of the glue was on the inside of the body instead of the outside.
Man I can watch this stuff all day! The equivalent of watching Bob Ross..👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Where is the material list? I don’t find it "in comments below" Thanks.
It’s in the video description.
Y’all get this idea from brian wise?
The concept from drew Chicone.
This is ridiculous. Look at the waste! Thinly disguised ploy to sell product. Ah, you've changed 😪
Cheech will be severely reprimanded for making you cry.
Why criticize someone for making a living in the industry? They own a fly shop, of course they’re going to develop flies that use materials they sell. Do you want them to be in business?
There's always that one person who has to put his 2 cents worth in! What a troll😂
