I have never seen a cicada. Only on news programs, or books i have read. I only know they don't come out but once every 17 years (I think) I like the fly for many reasons and I do not normally like to tie foam flies. I have bought some rainy's 6 mm foam. I suppose that would do. Or maybe I could cut it down with a razor. Thanks for sharing, All the best to you and yours. Sean

have you found that the fish hit the back of the fly and not hook up? I did this hoppers on the henry's fork in island park and I kept getting miss hits. It might be that I was doing the extended body a little longer.. User error

where did you get your extended body mandrel. you've used it in a few of your videos. Looks really handy
I would like to know what kind of super glue you use, I have tried several and they take too long to set. Last one I tried was Krazy Glue
