Hi. What glue did you use to glue back the plastic clip mount to the headliner?
Richard Pyun I'm unsure on the glue we used exactly on that day to reattach the clip on the back of the board, but would of most likely been either Tensor grip, 3M 76, or Permatex. Also probably including Velcro around the clip to strengthen its task to hold up the board.

Isnt it the back side of the headliner coveredwith plastic fins ???
I have a 2010 Cayman S and the rectangular hard plastic sharks teeth grids were epoxied on the back of mine and I had to refinish some of the soft touch interior trim. I didn't use a foam backed material for my replacement, as I don't want to do it again. I used upholstery material with a fabric backing and find what you like I picked a crocodile material. To affix it to the headliner shell I used a 3M under hood adhesive, so I will never have to replace it again. I replaced mine in 2018 after a hurricane went by upping the heat and humidity.
What's with the full-on hazmat suit, isn't this an ordinary upholstery job?
Because we do this everyday & aim to keep doing it for many more years to come, it's to reduce over exposure to chemicals & foam dust.
That headliner material looks a lot worse than the factory Porsche one, is there nowhere to put the original back?
