That's true, but the Nismo will have much less turbo lag, a shorter breaking distance and better cornering. Essentially the Nismo will still go faster around a track despite the power difference. But I guess it's up to what the individual wants

Gtr started with such modest pricing. Why is it inflating so fast. The reason it was so cool at first is because it was a relatively super cheap supercar killer. It has totally let go of that title to the c8 corvette
C8 is the new RWD GTR, I have a feeling that car will be very competitive in the aftermarket category. I'm just waiting for the guys that are going to drop some 1500-2000hp LSX motors in hopefully that DCT can handle some powa!

@@guerrerok90 If you have not noticed since 2009 of the release of the GTR. The GTR was never meant to drag race, it just happens to be fast on the launch due to it's massive grip from the AWD.

@@statefarmkid Yeah just with talking about in the rain then Grip will always be compromised, and can't always guarantee you won't have to brake hard or swerve hard especially if some kind of hazard (deer for example) decides to get in your path!
Col A North East hitting you breaks hard or swerving for a seer is a huge mistake. It Can cause someone to rear end you or make you swerve lose control and go off the road. just you going off the roads. And majority of the time you will hit that deer when you break like that causing you to get into a even shittier situation. I love in the mountains and encounter that a lot and also seen a few crashes because of breaking for those Deer. And sorry if I seem rude I’m just stating my opinion from experience.

Stop whining about pricing and upgrades as if you’re an expert tuner. For a new price, compared to other new supercars, this is still very impressive performance. Is it expensive for a Nissan and compared to other used GT-R’s? Yes. Could you buy an older model and upgrade it to be quicker? Yes. But the fact of the matter is that this is a NEW supercar putting down very impressive numbers from factory especially with comparison to other supercars of higher pricing. Just appreciate the damn car for what it is, and stop complaining as if you plan on buying one new anyways.

Got a 2013. Nissan messed up by deciding to make the car more soft and luxurious in 2015. Should have kept making it more hardcore every year.

I knew that finally adding the carbon ceramic brakes is what increased the price. Motortrend complained about the 2018 and 2019 Nismor35gtr for not having carbon ceramic brakes.
This car AT BEST is 112K! It is outdated looks basically the same (carbon fiber) ooooh. Plus don't forget, like so many Nissan cars, trucks, and SUV's the paint will fade and oxidize quicker than you can do 0-60

The Z line has been long overdue for a next gen Z, they abandoned the IDX project, have been ignoring the ZX and Silvia lineups, and stepped away from the Skyline spec. They need to think of something fast, especially with the Corvette C8 mid-engine design coming out soon. LoL
With the GTR, it’s not so much exotic, let alone anything worth over $100k. If it wants to price it on an exotic platform, Nissan better step up a major overhaul of a redesign for it.

Wow, is it me or are overpriced cars getting way more overpriced? I don't care what's been added/taken away, this car is not worth the $212k asking price. In all honesty, I'm not sure it's even a $175k car, or even $155k car. Well, I guess a fool and his money are soon separated.
So, Nissan put all their R&D money in this car and left others to linger. The asking price supports this hypothesis. Nissan and priorities do not go in the same sentence.

Do you have any idea how much those tires, those rims and those Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes cost? Even a set of the cheapest 4pot piston calipers still goes for $3000 brand new and not even Carbon Ceramic. I bet those brakes alone are at least $10,000+

It is in some hat similar to the Demon/Red Eye; $80k+ gets you the same basic, cheap Challenger interior but in a faster car which is sad.
