Plowing snow with Western MVP Plus

In this video we got a nice 5" dumping of snow that needs to be moved! I am using a 9' 6" Western MVP Plus v-plow that is attached to a 2007 Chevy 3500 Silverado dump truck(my wood hauler).

Nice job.. when I was 17, I worked for Sam's Club (same thing as Costco)here in Tacoma, and one of my jobs was snow removal, so I did the entrance.. One of the ladies thought I was crazy as I was outside in a t-shirt, but man, I was sweating..

I grew up in Michigan and never thought to lift my wiper arms up during the winter to keep them from getting stuck. Worked with a lady from IL that did that. That was about 15 years ago; been doing it ever since. 👍🏻

Was very impressed with that v-plow. Had to use my tractor down here in Arkansas last week to remove a hard packed sleet out of our drive. Usually just let mother nature remove it. She put it there.

I do not miss plowing snow for people and business. Most the residential don’t have the room for snow and are not laid out right to remove the snow

I gave a customer a $50 discount to plow our driveway, unfortunately when he did it the ground wasn’t frozen and there are large piles of dirt and stone everywhere, going to be a helluva mess to clean up.
