    I love these videos! That’s so cool your a Body Shop guy too. I’m a paint and body lifer myself. I love the run videos too but these build and set up videos are my favorite that you’ve done.

    Loved this series, mine is in the mail and listening to those that do it the right way is very valuable. Thank you for this series. I saw the first run and it was pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing the evolution of this V2 Limitless, keep em comin. Man that paintjob is sweeeeeeeeet. Yeesssssss more set up vids, again can't say it enough we need to hear from the experts. So many UA-camrs make it seem like they are taking speed run secrets to the grave and for what, lets all do 203MPH together lol.

    How about a video how you set up a delta plastic body. That wiuld so helpful. I have scrapped three now trying to get the fit correct.

    Dang I thought the stock spur gear it came with was 34? I’m still learning and building mine now but could of sworn I heard 34 somewhere. Thanks and nice video!

      Stock spur gear on the v2 is 39 tooth

    thanks for the info james much appreciated. you said you like 1.13 to 1.14 pinion to spur ratio with that set up on the 2.8 diffs for 8s. what ratio would you run if you where on 6s with the v1 and the 3.3 diff ratio with exact same electics?

    You mentioned you use no droop screws in the front, but what about the rear do you use droop screws in the rear, or do you eliminate the droop screws in the back also? Thanks.

    When you mounted the esc, didnt it hit the body? Mine did...what was your fix?

      Tp is a big amp motor , may be tough to get the most out of it with a max6.

    Quick question, what do you use to trim the rear wing & front conards? I'm about to trim mine on the new body I just painted. Last time I used an xacto knife but it was a bit of a pain lol.

    Great information again! The esc wire length you mentioned brought up a question. If you have batteries running in parallel and on of the batteries has slightly shorter wires (due to a connector repair) could this cause issues when pulling high amperage during a run? Do lipo wire lengths need to be identical if running parallel?

    Good stuff James. I have the same setup except I’m running XLX only because fears off TP XLX fires. What are you setting up on your XLX2 to prevent fire or over heating. Love to see video

    Hi James, ive been paying close attention to pretty much everything. I have one question about the droop.
    If u find that one front wheel is lifting before the other, Do u go back in and add more bushing to one side or do u then use the droop screw?

      I try to not use the front droop screws ever but for some very fine adjustment its fine

      Plug the batteries in and unplugging them.
      Batteries should not be left plugged in when not using the model

    I got a 4060 TP motor I was going to fit on my infraction looks to big to fit in stock location

      4060 wont fit in an Infraction in the stock location with modifications to the motor mount and the steering

      6986? I haven't heard of that motor I'll check it out and yes I got the V2 I started to order the 4070 but they said it wouldn't fit in the stock location..the seller said the 4060 would..so now I'm like what now..lol .buy the 4070 or switch everything around and run the 4060🤔 I think the 4070 would be faster..or at least that's what I've heard..

      I believe Arrma is offering an optional slide for the stock mount that will hold the 2028, My go to mounts are PPS and Scorched RC both are fantastic

      Not sure what Castle has to do with it but 34p 39s is the best gearing for this setup.
