LOVE IT!!! What's great about the 2nd part of this scene is the body language and mannerisms: you can see how Alexis struts with and "sashays", where Sammy Jo simply "tries". And when Sammy Jo delivers that final blow at the conservatory door, you can see the nervous hesitation and insecurity (well, that and lack of experience among people of this stature) as she goes to shut (or "slam") the door on Alexis.
Sammy Jo, although from the backwoods with no sosphicated upbringing, was always a match for Alexis. She didn't play by the rules of the uber rich which made her somewhat immune to Alexis's tactics. They were opposites that counceled each other out. Alexis used her money and power to control people. Sammy Jo had neither so was not easily manipulated by Alexis. Love this show.

that's true, but it seems that's all she's good at, can she do anything else? this character (alexis carrington) she did well in "The Bitch," and "The Stud." so it's as though that's all she can do. Not knocking her i love her performances but it's good to break out of what people expect from you and do something else . .
Because she can't pull off a british accent convincingly and Plus Heather Locklear is going through something right now, something that isn't really a laughing matter. Plus the CW dynasty more than likely wants no connections to the original dynasty.
