When I was a little girl, I always thought that Krystal cried too much and was a wimp. Watching the series now as an adult, I couldn't have been more wrong. Krystal only worried about her family's welfare. She was a great mother, a very loving and supportive wife, and she was also very sharp when it came to making business decisions. Plus, she was always stylishly dressed, very prim and proper, but wouldn't hesitate to whip a b#tches's a$$ If the occasion calls for it! 😂😂😂😂

This was the kind of high stakes-serious drama that was missing from the show for years. Instead of walking in and out of scenes trading bitchy little jabs at one another, Collins and Evans could have given us this. Too bad it finally came when Evans was walking off the show - and the show was nearing its end.

In this episode, Krystle had to go overseas to have a brain tumor operation. The great irony was that she developed the tumor from Alexis making her fall off Champ (horse). The brain tumor strengthened when Alexis beat Krystle over the head with her floppy hat in the lily pond fight.
Season 10 plotlines; Krystal goes insane and by the cliffhanger is put into an asylum, Sable has Dex's child and since he died, she marries Blake. Alexis survived by landing on Dex and gets financially ruined by the end of this final season, whilst Zorelli marries Fallon and has his baby (which irks the Carringtons so they disown her), and Jeff kills Adam in the cliffhanger (cause he never got over the tabloid photos of him & Monica).
Especially after what he did in season 1: sending dogs to men on the ground, raping her, attacking Ted Dinard,... and in season 6, he nearly strangled Alexis after she took the mansion. He was violent. Even if the writers made him softer and wiser after season 2, he was despicable.

Until recently, I only saw the first 3 seasons of Dynasty. I didn't watch it when, Catherine Oxenberg wa on it, nor the Royal Wedding, Emma Samms, and the weekly Krystle and Alexis catfights.
The only scene those two shared in the whole of season 9. I'm glad that Alexis wasn't in episode 8, Krystle's final episode David Paulsen, former showrunner on Dallas and Knots Landing knew what he was doing and he should have come in sooner The kicker was, that as Krystle drives off with Blake on honeymoon after renewing their wedding vows. A call comes through to the house. And, Jeff tells Fallon that there won't be a honeymoon, Krystle's operation has been rescheduled for the day after tomorrow And, she didn't have a brain tumour. It was a medical condition which I looked up a few years ago, where there is an artery in the brain which narrows and not enough oxygen gets to the brain Linda Evans said that her final episode was the last one filmed before the, Christmas 1988 holiday season break

No. The writers and actors had no clue that this would be the final appearance of Collins and Evans together on Dynasty. The series got cancelled in spring 1989 from declining ratings. The season 9 finale show even had a big cliffhanger with two major characters in extreme peril. (Later in 1991 there was a two part miniseries to wrap some stories up.)
