That was actually Apple Butter Not apple sauce. I love apple butter. It tastes delicious on toast. When I was a young girl we used to have a jar of apple butter on the breakfast table along with regular margarine and jelly and raisin bread which my grandma always toasted.

This is quite an expensive store in Egypt, you can get much cheaper prices on many items.
It's likely one of the most expensive grocery stores in Egypt. It caters to rich folks, expats, etc.
A great deal of the products sold at this store is imported food. Imported food, especially fresh foods tend to be costly anywhere you go.
Ladies and George, he is showing you the most expensive store, regular Egyptians DO NOT shop there, only Western Peole and wealthy Egyptians. I have visited Cairo, Egypt and it was like the wild, wild west. Everyone wanted money, including the police. And uf thry know you're American or European they will charge you double and triple. This guy needs to be careful
You do that across the world in Nigeria too if you’re American or you European, they charge you double in trouble. This is nothing new so what do you saying this is everywhere

This is so beneficial! We are planning go to Egypt to study Arabic and try it out. So figuring out the living cost of rent, food, transportation and so on is a little bit of a hassle, but this reaaaaally helps allot!! Keep up the good work🙌🏽

You can get these things much cheaper in some other areas . Don't shop in Guna . Drive your car 18 miles South to Hurghada to do the shopping of the whole week .

Watched to see what items we could buy to save travel weight, i.e. toilettes, some clothing...........
We are coming over for 3 weeks and trying to save weight and only use cabin bags.

Prices seem just about right for imported goods. More expensive over there than here. The price of Syrup is insane.
1 kg is 2.2 b and the pound is 453 gm.
Maybe stick a few rate conversions on the screen. 20=US?, 50=US?, 100=US? would help some of us older people. Great job on bringing the review!!!
