As a Vietnamese, Chai, you're doing a great job. I know it's hard to interview and get negative feedback about the country they are visiting, especially in a short time, but it's necessary for Vietnamese who are working in tourism industry, to improve their services.
Da Nang has to be one of the best places on earth. Very cheap. People are amazing. Love it their. I'd move there if they had more international schools.
Big respect for wise old man. He talk about the truth with wisdom. Everything changes. growing more and more, becoming modern more. Many things look better and more convenient. But these old days is beautiful, peaceful with natural. i acttually willing to listen kind of the old man tell about the history, something happens in previous time of me, kind of 90s 80s, 70s,..
I really like the contrast between the old guard and new generation viewpoints. Both men were respectful of the country and the people. A great job with this video. I do wish Thailand would follow Vietnam's lead and not have go go bars on every corner that expats frequent.
I'm not sure LOS has them on every corner, really. There are a few red light districts here and there, at least that's how it was 15 years ago. Otherwise, it's just businesses and people living their lives.

It will rain at least 50% of the time, and temperatures will be 25-30⁰C(80-95⁰F) It it's a big country, and the weather will depend on where exactly you plan to stay. It is, though, the monsoon season. 😊
Gotta be cleaner then usa and uk half the cities are like ghettos and it seems to be getting worse for down and outs and people just openly smoking pipes in the streets and police just driving past and doing nothing I'm beginning to think usa and uk are turning into third world countries and Asians countries are getting more afluent
I hope the western world will do better in the future. It’s sad to see what problems some countries have even they are considered as first world countries
I've been to Thailand before, but found the anti farang sentiment to get old pretty quick. No one talks about that. I wonder if it is pervasive in Vietnam, also.

@@johnmontgomery3725 thank you for your response 😊 I've read many similar comments and I realize Thailand has changed a lot - but the whole world has... I'm traveling with my son and I wish I could show him the UK as it was when I lived there 20 years ago. I still think it's worth exploring. While I missed out on Thailand 'back in the day', I'm sure it will still be an experience that will broaden my son's horizons (and maybe it will be his 'back in my day'?) Stop being ignorant and arrogant look down on people and expect they must speak English to serve your need .
