- How to make a dartboard stand for under £30
What you will need to make a dart stand
- [ ] speaker stand - eBay
- [ ] Piece of timber approx (204mm) 8inches x (130mm) 5inches x (76mm) 3inches
- [ ] Black spray paint- found in garage, but you can buy in the range, Homebase, BnQ etc
- [ ] Blade 5 dart boards new/old or the one you are going to use on the stand (I use a winmau blade 5 as I use the locking system)
- [ ] Dartboard bracket (comes with dartboard usually)
- [ ] Pliers
- [ ] Hammer
- [ ] Screw driver
- [ ] 6 x screws
- [ ] Drill
- [ ] Drill bits - 7mm and 3mm wood drill bits

I obviously can see that the stand can go to the needed height... The info states 160cm, which is 5' 3" but as a few others have said the bull height is 5'8"... I would be grateful if you can confirm the stand can do this, is the height just printed wrong ... I know the stand is relatively cheap but money is tight... I know this seems stupid as I can see you set it up... Please help, I really need this, it's perfect... 🙂

Iv'e just bought a Gorilla pro stand on ebay for around £40. this seems like a lot of hassle to save a tenner.
The gorilla stands used to be £100 when I made this video.
The gorilla stands, due to the heavy fittings they tend to wobble quite a bit, whereas I made this to be more sturdy. Hope this helps
Saves a lot more than a tenner if you have an old speaker stand lying around plus the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
