Holy moly, David! You really pushed yourself taking on this one mate. The drum part in 'Ace' is really tricky, even as a frustrated 'non' drummer I know this to be true. I have owned that album since 75 myself and know the track very well. Brilliant job mate! Collins was one of the true greats wasnt he! also I loved the way you added your own to the ending. first class!

Even though at around 3:23 you´ve missed the snare roll 🙂 Are you using the Phil Collins signature sticks? They are so short, I couldn´t play with them. But they have an amazing rebound so I use them often on a practice pad.
I do use Phil's signature sticks! I tend to hold my sticks at the very end so I like the shorter stick, although the other half of the time I use Simon Phillip's signature stick too, which is basically Phil's but not as broad and it's a bit longer.
Great job again. Fantastic drumming. I found that all of Steve's later stuff wasn't as tight as this. He didn't have the fabulous timing of Phil and Mike as the backbone for his later stuff
