Great demo, beautiful intro. The Dark side is trippy. The Black is like a Freeze pedal that continually latches onto the notes and gives a great Eno/ Fripp vibe. Not a fan of any shimmer, pass on that for myself. The Mod is coolest when the the lo-fi aspect of it is highlighted. But, gotta say, the "normal side" is my fav. Best spring I've heard in a pedal in a long time. Plate is beautiful and hall is lovely as well. Of course, the brilliance of Chase Bliss is to allow the consumer to add, subtract, manipulate, combine, actively filter and above all, to store your ideas. Hitting it outta the park again! Much love to Chase Bliss, Keely and Cooper FX!!!!
If the "normal side" has your favorite tones you should really consider looking into the Keeley reverb pedals. Keeley did all of the design for the "Light" / "normal" side and you may find his offerings more in line with what you're looking for.
Is that sizzle/fizz sound in the into the pedal or the amp or UA-cam’s compression? sounds like grainy rust dust rubbing into gravel at the end of the reverb trail.
@@LivingroomGearDemos no, but they should sell on reverb, maybe you can compare it to digital spring reverb pedals so we can see the diferences between analog and digital.
I'd say this is very much superior, considering the fact that Keeley and Cooper FX designed the algorithms. In my experience, those two are just better at creating more realistic algorithms than EHX. Much love to EHX though.
I'm with ya. That's the only real problem - it's not stereo. I love the CBA stuff, but I like to run stereo, so reverb has to be a stereo pedal for me. Love the Empress and Source Audio verbs for that reason.
@@ILuvJazzNJava JustNickMusic uploaded a demo for this pedal and he has a very compelling counterargument for this. You should check it out! Good food for thought.
When you wake up and check your subscriptions and the 7 latest videos posted are demos of the same pedal, it is very obvious that these are sponsored, however the only 2 out of these 7 that are up front with this fact are you and aBunchOfPedals. Now, when it's such an obvious PR campaign going on and not actual good reputation built on the merits of the product itself I'm already not interested. But at least you get one small badge of honesty (=not a thumbs down) for telling us.
Hey! Different countries has different rules when it comes to marking content as sponsored, so that might be the reason. Most demos you see now days are sponsored in some way, it's kind of the nature of UA-cam. Ad money is close to nothing, so most of the big channels either charge or receive free gear for a video - both goes under the "sponsored" category. I can only speak for myself, but a video like this takes 2 days to make, and I'm not stating any opinions on the pedal in the video. That's why I feel that I can charge for it - but of course, also mark it as a sponsored video. Let me know if you have any questions!
I have nothing against _this_ video, you don't have to defend it, and I appreciate the honesty and will remember it for future reference. However some of the other demos released by others at the same time as this made it look like they carefully chose this pedal and are going to use it on their board forever, with an accompaning "review" which reads like a list of superlatives. All of which are obvious to see as part of a campaign today, release day, when they are posted back to back and no other videos exists - but in a few years when people are looking for demos of this and randomly find the sponsored videos _not_ stating they are sponsored it's not gonna give them a honest picture of the product in question but one built upon hype. In this day and age I value honesty over almost any other quality, and so should the youtubers; it will pay off in the long run. Thanks.

It’s wonderful to see a fancy reverb be applied with more than just basic ambient blablah

Chase bliss always making crazy good stuff. Another one for the wishlist. Great demo once again.
True, and thanks!
Good demo of this pedal, more useful than most of the others I’ve seen

That intro is heavy. Nice demo.
That Fano is sexy as hell too. :-)
✌🏻Thanks!
Great demo man. I enjoyed it
Thanks Alex!
HAPPY ENDING .😊
This doesn’t have as many likes and views as it deserves.

Cam you demo the spring king from danelectro? If we are talking about drip, this is the thing
Are they still being made?

Tell us what you think about the Dark World on RigShare! rigshare.com/products/dark-world-521074
Do you think it can be compared to the Oceans 11 soundwise?

@@Timmato Yeah, I thought so. Problem is it's like 3 times the price than the ehx and I don't really need it haha
@@moritzlienhard273 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have the DVD which has great commentary but nothing as drippy as this
You make me almost justify spending $350 for a mono reverb.
Almost?? 😉

Riff City has it on sale for $296.. It may be a mistake, but get one!
