Dream Evil is a bloody classic album, the last perfect album the band dropped to me
I would disagree - Lock Up The Wolves, Strange Highways, and Killing The Dragon are all in the same class.
Correct ,every song on that album is a heavy metal classic.
To me all 10 Dio albums are fantastic metal albums, the worst of them would be a highlight of any other band's career. Dream Evil is very underrated anyways, seems all poeple talk about are Holy Diver, Last in line and Sacred Heart.

"Dream Evil" was my first and is, until today, my favourite Dio album (I know I am in the minority here). And Craig Goldy's rockstar poses were the best way back then. Simply perfect at the time.

in 1989 a friend lent me a cassette and it was this album, it's my favorite and that there is so much good music but nothing compares to this work of the great RONNIE JAMES DIO. GREETINGS FROM ARGENTINA.

Fantastic song by Dio. I remember seeing this clip on MTV in the summer of '87; the band really fit into the hair metal scene so popular at the time. Yet Ronnie's lyrics always had greater weight than all of his contemporaries. He was a good man who is sorely missed, who wrote some very uplifting songs.

Today is the 13 year anniversary death of Ronnie James Dio and he passed away from stomach cancer in 2010 and I miss him dearly and his music will live on forever and ever

It is the most wonderful thing to drink in as much Dio as possible. This is an amazing song with reaches me on every single level. That voice has to be a gift from the heavens. That music is pure magic. I don't care how old I get, I always want this music to be a big part of my life.
I couldn’t agree more! Saw Dio 12 times in concert and that number would surely be higher if we wouldn’t have lost him so early 10 years ago. Wish my son could have seen him live at least once too, he is a teenager and listens to Dio all the time too.

Everybody saying Ronnie is the king of heavy metal needs to stop calling him the king. He’s not the king of heavy metal, he’s the GOD of heavy metal. Hell, his name, Dio, literally means “God” in Italian. He invented the rock ‘n’ roll horns 🤘🏼 Rest in Power, Dio
Hard to believe years ago Dio was the lead singer for former band Black Sabbath. Dio & Back Sabbath made two really good albums “Heaven & Hell” & “Mob Rules”. RIP DIO.

I would say that Dio’s weakest album is either Angry Machines or Strange Highways...I actually really like S.H. though, especially Hollywood Black, Evilution, and the title track. Even Angry Machines has one redeemable track (This Is Your Life)...

Easily Dio's best song ever
JUST brilliant!!!!! So glad to re connect with this fabulous music after going AWOL as the eighties and nineties closed..I truly miss this era and just want to go back. So much optimism and clever people and less bullshit and the standard of music was through the stratosphere just like this track. How our social clutch is slipping and is now down to the rivets!

Dream Evil was the only tour I saw Ronnie and it was a KILLER with Savatage and Megadeth!
