Bret Hart being #1 is the right call. Not only was his title reigns (for the most part) memorable, he became a Triple Crown champion at a time when there only was the three championships to win.
Yeah. For me, Bret Hart will always be the definitive Triple Crown champ because (aside from being one of greatest of all time) he did it in the "right" order. (1) Debut as part of a legendary tag team with a unified gimmick, (2) have a successful solo run with the IC belt, and (3) ascend to Top Guy with a world title win. Shawn Michaels kinda did it the same way (even though the Rockers tag championship win isn't recognized) , but I'll always see him as someone who came after Bret. Most of the people on this list (even Kofi and Big E) first made their name as solo performers, with tag success coming after an IC or world title win. And when you make a tag team out of two solo successes (no matter how great the tag team ends up being: New Day, Team Hell No, Money Inc., etc.) it's always going to feel a little wrong to me.
The Hart Dungeon is well represented on this list. Growing up I did not understand why I liked Bret and Owen (Blue Blazer) matches so much more than other matches. Bret was not as flashy as the top guys and Blue Blazer constantly lost but even when I was little-little (3-4 years old) I remember saying "his matches are just so fun".
I don’t understand why the smackdown/WWE tag titles don’t count. I get the US title since its lineage didn’t start in WWE but the tag belts did. That doesn’t make much sense.
Triple crown and grand slam stuff just doesn’t make sense. The triple crown should be 1 world title reign, 1 mid card reign, 1 tag reign. I think the grand slam should be retcon to 2 different world title rings and two different mid card reigns. What wwe views as counting for them is just strange
For the record Eddie Guerrero was not a two time WWE tag team champion he was a four time WWE tag team champion. Twice with Chavo, once with Tajiri and once with Mysterio
I would assume so but I think they might wait until recognition of the concept to confirm. I honestly don’t want this to happen but it would quickly put this in perspective if Bayley wins her matches over the next two days.
Dean Ambrose is a 3X International champion! His first reign was 64 days His second was a RESPECTABLE 152 DAYS! His third was 29 days! Why are you misinforming the audience just to place Mox in a lower position? Seriously either edit this or apologize
Pretty ridiculous to count the old World Heavyweight Championship but not the current one or even universal titles. They’re world titles too. WWE is basically saying they’re not. But why count the old HWC then?
So if the US title doesn't count, why does the World heavyweight? Plus with the women's ic/us titles being added, the triple crown for them will be restarted
Bret Hart probably the greatest of all time. Hes been in the top 3 of any list cultaholic does. And rightfully so, i truly believe that Bret "Hitman" Hart is the greatest professional wrestler of all time.
it should be like how i do it in efed. a world division, mid card, special rules, tag, and now trios. When you win 3 belts (1 from each group) you are triple crown and if you get them all across you are known as Grand Slam champion
This is probably the worst list y’ave done so far. When I saw Booker T and Kurt Angle dead last and Ronda Rousey so high up, I knew this list would be bad.

@@Justin_North I mean, if it was ranking every IC champion then yeah, but there are so many clangers in this list. Angle at the bottom? Come the fuck on. How much time was there from his debut to being a double champion? And then beating the Rock for the big one pretty much as soon as he dropped?
Imagine this Orton wins the title and loses it a screwy way and then he wins it back now he’s at 16 Orton drops the title then later vacate the title cena vs Orton for the record
I mean, *technically*, Kevin Nash (maybe) did hold the WCW Television title. Scott Hall was a double champ (US and TV), he gave Nash the TV title, and Nash threw it in the trash all of 30 seconds later. But that should still count, dammit!
Well there’s a women’s IC title now and there’s rumored to be a women’s US title so maybe it’ll be a bit easier for the women to get it instead of having to be the world champ in both brands

Dude this list is ALL OVER THE PLACE! I have no comprehension how you guys determined the order of things here lol
How many times of each belt how many days as champ and how significant the title reigns were.
That may be so, but he nailed #1 perfectly.
Time to wait for the ranking of all Grand Slam champions! Let's see how much the US title and Smackdown belts change things up!
Bret Hart being #1 is the right call. Not only was his title reigns (for the most part) memorable, he became a Triple Crown champion at a time when there only was the three championships to win.

They do count. Or should. Angie completed the triple crown when he and Benoit won the Smackdown tag team titles.
I remember Kane as Triple Crown Champion because he became the Grand Slam champion on the same night.
Christian did as well.
The greatest Triple Crown winner in WWE history indeed. One might even say the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
Try to do a video on the wrestlers that only hold world championships
This list's #01 couldn't be any other than The Best There Is, the Best There Was, the Best There Ever Will Be.
Is Chris Benoit technically a triple crown winner?
Ye he is
It’s also a Grand Slam champion since the Us title counts

Angle's & Benoit's Tag Title reign lasted only 16 days, not 35.

You mean RVD. Booker was a way bigger star in 2002 than RVD.
^Nope, booker was last on the list that’s what their comment was referencing. Not “star power”
AJ IC run is underrated.
Technically Austin wasn't Tag Champion with Mankind. It was Dude Love
I do not understand this list at all, is combined days most important, quality of reigns? Most titles? Is a world title more weighted? I'm lost
Just full of bias no way Roman that low or aj styles that’s bs Pedro mid frfr
Hbk being the only one with 300+ days with all three belts makes it pretty clear cut to me

Daniel Bryan was tag champion with Erick Rowan too. Good research guys.

Pretty ridiculous to count the old World Heavyweight Championship but not the current one or even universal titles. They’re world titles too. WWE is basically saying they’re not. But why count the old HWC then?
Because WWE has not said if either of those belts count
Cena really needs to win the IC belt before his retirement and also a 17 time world champ.
That unstable line about Flair had me crying laughing lol 😂
Daniel Bryan was tag champions alongside Eric Rowan. Why was this left out?

So if the US title doesn't count, why does the World heavyweight? Plus with the women's ic/us titles being added, the triple crown for them will be restarted
The Intercontinental title has been around longer. And the triple crown accolade was established when the US title was in WCW.
