The folder to scan the FL plugin on PC: C:>>Program Files>>Image Line>>FL Studio 21>>System>>Plugin>>VSTi Idk the folder for a Mac. Idk why he skipped that
That’s what I used to do back in ‘08. Idk if the Rewire feature is still a big deal seeing that your using a different approach and plug-in. But Rewire was how you did this in the past. I recently just stopped in 2020 when Fl made it easy for vocal tracking.
ditch both try Studio One...i was using FL since 2.8 yeah...since 2000/2001 i switched in 2013 to Presonus (mostly) but then when Studio 3 was released and FL still was a mess in the Organization stuff i was 100% in Studio One now in 6.5 im Happier then ever...and yeah of course i miss the Step Seq....btw i also used Cubase since SX3 and Logic 9 but for me Studio One is just Cleaner and Quicker no matter if i Produce or Mix&Master...Pro Tools was imo the worse experience ever...
I was using studio one until recently check out the channel, but I own perpetual licenses to protools, flstudio, and logic. The versions of studio one that I own are not compatible on Mac m1(version 2 and 3). However, I was renting to own through splice for studio one 5 but then they came out with version6 once I was 1/2 way through the payments of ownership for v5 and that license didn't transfer into v6 because presonus started pushing that subscription service HARD. so I would have had to pay another upgrade fee for version 6 smh. That left a sour taste in my mouth so I stopped paying splice and just got on the 6month subscription plan as I had projects I needed to finish but I didn't upgrade S1 after my subscprition ran out because it doesn't make sense financially especially already having logic, protools, and fl studio. Then 90% of my projects still end up in protools anyway. Then I was making content for Studio ONE and I don't even own a version I can use on my current system, it makes no sense. On top of all this, it actually cost me more to upgrade studio one over upgrading protools so I gave studio one up as I already own a version of protools I can use on my system. But this is why Im getting more hardware because software with this " YOU'll OWN NOTHING" business strategy is getting OLD FAST. Thanks for commenting and stopping by. I love studio one btw but if it cost me more than protools than its a problem lmao
oh yeah heard about that rent option in Splice...i never was a Subs person always buy stuff but i can understand your trouble...the you own nothing thing also happend to me...these jerks at refx tracked down my notebook when i was in venice making beats in vacation etc...then Nexus stoped working then they support answered the ip was different then usual so that was the last day i used nexus wich i also payed like 1k only for expansion...but they got what they deserve...i check some of your videos thx for the quick replay... @@VeracityTT
I'd like to fill you in on a little secret I recently discovered. Using FL in any other DAW as a plugin is the ultimate workflow. I start my beats in FL, then route it to Cubase (you can use ProTools/Logic/Ableton/Studio One too) to do my recording, editing and mixing. I haven't looked back since. The reality is that mixing in FL is still not as straightforward as it is in the latter DAWs. FL's routing is still very unnecessarily convoluted and some of the mixer shortcuts and functions are just not intuitive. That said, making beats and composing in FL is much quicker than in other DAWs. My problem now though is that FL 21.2 isn't working as a plugin in Cubase anymore. So I'ma try this DDMF option. Really hope it works otherwise I'm screwed...😬
do you have to purchase for it to work?
protools intro is free, metaplugin has a trial or demo but im not sure of the limitations.

What kinda computer you got including the specs
Mac mini, m1, 2020, 16gb ram, 256 ssd version, ventura
Can’t you just use the Rewire feature in Fl and in Pro tools.

Rewire is retired along with rtas plugins in newer protools. Protools has used aax format plugins now for years.
@@ItsSubZeroBeats same, i used the rewire feature all the time back in the day

@@mgmthegrand 100 bro, I found out about it years ago, but did you try to load cubase in rosetta mode to use the plugin maybe that might work
