This song reminds me of the carefree times in the 70's and dancing with my beautiful mother in our living room when I was a little boy. There was no internet, no social media, and no cell phones. Life just seemed more natural and real back then, and we had the music to prove it. Love and miss you, mom. Thanks for letting me be myself, and giving me a childhood full of love and happiness. I know I'll see you again someday.
In all honesty. The internet is both the worse and good thing that has been a thing. Its not that life still isn’t real or natural because of this. Its just how some aren’t making proper inclusions into it.
beautiful... with such a sense of longing.. just made you think of everything beautiful joyous loving... sitting on a sunday afternoon on the block in summer...
First time I heard this, was on a plane to Italy and a new duty station. 1975. Have never forgotten it. This is great music, and it brings back so many memories, all good.

What’s so lovely is that this song doesn’t even have any words, and yet, it expresses love in such a beautiful and mysterious way. It’s like your emotions speak the words
That was the Barry White magic. Smooth and classy. I saw him perform in Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre. It was pure love, magic, and class. He had a style all his own. I do miss him.
I know what you mean, Tony. The song and the memories associated with it are a double-edged sword. I miss those times, and it makes me sad, and I cry. I cried the day Barry White died, July 4, 2003. I am crying now.
No one shall ever come even close to The Maestro, Barry white the love man, his music will never be forgotten. And every woman loves that sexy voice. RIP .x
My opinion about this tune is that it is one of if not the best orchestrated compositions of all time simply a masterpiece. I will always enjoy listening to it.
Barry White the Maestro was a pioneer and revolutionar who combine a 52 members strong orchestra with influences of r & b and soul. Only a few can create and manage such lifetime changes with an impact that goes around this world for ever.
One of the finest instrumentals I have ever heard. The inspiration the composer had when composing this is remarkable and the instruments so well chosen to play it just in the right moment and with the right tone. Simply beautiful!

Undeniably 1970s. From 1974, Barry Whites beautiful instrumental, "Love's Theme." A song to escape with, AWESOME arrangement, definitely one for the ages.
Childhood friend of mine had this single and we played it often........I looked for this song for years not knowing it was Barry White. Those were the days.....you didn't have access to world news and paid more attention to what was in front of you and appreciated it much more.
El tema del amor, linda composición, que creo que es lo mejor que compuso Barry White. Es tan bella que la escogieron como el tema para el desfile de las rosas, en Pasadena CA durante el día de año nuevo.

This has to be one of the best melodies of all time. It's hard to believe that it was created in 1973. The sound is so exquisite and perfect, even unmatch by today's "talents" and all the "creation" with electronics. RIP Mr. White and thank you for such great music.

Such a song -- such a memory. One I've not written about nor told a soul ... well, until now ... It was on the early morning that would be my last day in 8th Grade of my Junior High School in 1972 ... this song coincidentally started at my clock-radio clicking on at about 7am. Hearing Barry White's LOVE'S THEME ... ahhh, this wondrous, soaring piece -- I instantly unfurled from the covers ... ... and I danced and swirled and laughed and I cried happy, happy tears. For I was a 12 year-old boy in his room, in his jammies ... and in this moment, I knew that there was going to be a Summer before me and I would soon then, begin living the dream of all young boys (well, at least for me) ... HIGH SCHOOL -- GIRLS -- DATING -- PROMS -- and then ... ... the promises of being a GROWN UP. The Freedom of being an Adult. Little did I realize, then ... The Freedoms -- the LOVE ... The dreams, the promises of it all is earned in our hearts first. And we should speak of them, we should live them. So g'head ... and dance everyday ... even if you're alone, That idea, that promise & that prayer of each day ahead; no matter what your age ... and soar ... ... and let nobody ever take the wonderment of your coming day -- nor the love from your heart. Thank you, Barry White. You gave me the passport into my teens. D.A.

This one is simply beautiful perhaps the best the Great Barry White composed. It is so good it was taken as theme for the Flower Parade in Pasadena CA and I hear it every New Year's day when I watch the parade on TV. And the remembrances of my own life long ago this excellent tune brings are really worthwhile. Very nice to hear and enjoy.
I finally found it. This is definitely the 1970s ABC golf coverage opening music. For the longest time I thought it was George Benson's Breezin'. But I was wrong, this is it. Brings back so many memories of PGA golf tournament broadcasts in the 70s.
There was a continuing series that came on tv in the 70s ..The Love Boat and this was the theme song to it. I always looked forward to watching it because of the Maestro's music. la composizione orchestrale più bella e armoniosa degli ultimi 50 anni, grazie maestro BARRY unico e irripetibile.
So g'head ... and dance everyday ... even if you're alone,
That idea, that promise & that prayer of each day ahead; no matter what your age ... and soar ...
... and let nobody ever take the wonderment of your coming day -- nor the love from your heart.
Thank you, Barry White. You gave me the passport into my teens.

Barry White!
Favorite song in 1974, reminds me of my first love, Larry. I hope life has been good to him.
Have loved this song since I was a kid and then it became the song of the company I worked for. I know I love to smile no matter what. This song just makes me feel extra joyous :)
This song brings back some good memories when music was a work of art. No lyrics just beautiful intruments synchronized perfectly.
such a great tune Brings back memories of the 70's-80's era Barry was a player huh?
1970s decade was the best for music.Timeless piece of art.RIP Barry White.
