The flow was a bit low on the settings and where out of stumps before we could really calibrate it correctly to the machine. Good thing to think about if the hydraulic pump has some hours on it is that the settings that the computer says you give in flow and pressure doesn't correlate 100% with what it actually gives. Where no problems though to cut down the stumps, didn't get stuck or anything it just geared down. Only that it took some more time then when having it fully optimised as seen on alot of other videos and demos from dipperfox. One notice from the operator was that there was not alot of oilflow left for the machine as it goes so one needs to make sure that the machine that are going to use it meets the requirement for effective usage.
Heavy rain could cause rapid erosion on the hillside when all trees and treeroots are removed. Also nutrients will wash down
Yes the roots are good in those aspects. This is usually used when you are going to build on the site and need to remove the stumps.
