Yes, it, does, sound like the masinko - exactly! *Igna-ne-ro-nu-wee-tee* is the name of the instrument, native to the Fulani's. Kartvelians have it, too. It's called: *chuniri.* Mongolians, Persians, Circassians and many others (like the the people of Crete and Greece) have a similar instrument, also. In addition, many Semitic speaking people, like Arabs, play this instrument.
