No bs and straight to the point, THANK YOU. Sharing this with my more inexperienced friends

It's small and easy to carry. After my first camping trip, this reduced the amount of stuff in my pockets, saving space in my backpack. Thanks for sharing

Like layers on a onion 🧅 if everything is in your rucksack and you get separated from it its a very bad day much harder to loose your pants. I learned the hard way after a canoe 🛶capsized in very cold water regards Mike

Great advice! Especially for newbies. I would add some ration bars and water purification tablets and a straw. Liked and subbed

    Nice simple list.
I have always given my kids the emergency poncho and blanket torch and whistle. Keep dry shiny blanket makes you easy to see whistle makes you easy to hear......
The whistles have had some use and the ponchos..... thankfully not in any serious situations

Is that light at .48 one of the small LED heads that attach to 9v batteries?
We had a heap of 9v batteries that still had life in them that we changed out of our smoke detectors. I was trying to find something to use them on and found one of those torch heads in a hardware store.
Jumped on the net and found you could buy a batch of them fairly cheaply so I got them and gave them and some batteries to family etc.
Strangely in spite of having some very expensive portable lighting options, I have an issue I know, I find myself grabbing that as often as anything else in the event of a power failure.
    Thanks for the video.

      @@kisbushcraftdownunder For sure.
The only thing I have found is that they can get a bit loose and the end dropping off in the dark would hardly be ideal.
A bit of tape fixes that issue.
Mine is sitting here next to my new Led Lenser light saber that never seems to come out of its pouch.
      Ooops
