Good to see a fresh video. I got totally hooked watching your adventure so I started at the beginning. I came across your shabin floor video looking for ideas for my summer cabin build project and that was the hook. Keep up the great work!
Oct 23…. Just posted 24 min ago… I absolutely love ❤️ all that you guys have done… I have been watching for a while. Basically I just click on videos and enjoy! I love ❤️ how you guys are together and how you always have us (the viewers) join in on the fun! I’m always excited to join you all in the woods! Thank you for being the people you are!
lol yes… we were behind on getting them out but we are officially caught up!! Yay!!!In a couple weeks when we post it will be current… although a different off grid adventure. Can’t wait to share!! We appreciate you sticking with us & watching. Also thank you so much for the sweet kind words.
Nice walk about tour ! Yes the chimney has to be kept clean, I burn wood 7 months of the year here in my parts, & I still think you did an awesome job on it :)
Good to see you guys and the Shabin . I have to clean my stove pipe about every 3 months. More often, depending on if my wood is not quite seasoned. I'm burning continuously for about 9 months of the year.
Hi Ronald!! It definitely does depend on what wood you burn & sometimes you don’t have a choice. Glad we cleaned it and should be good for awhile. Thanks for watching!!!
Just found your channel and have been enjoying some of your content on this winter’s day in northern Michigan. Looks like you are getting things dialed in, well done. Especially enjoyed your bear hunt, the wife and I did the same thing in 2022 in Michigan’s UP. New sub.
Hello!! We are so glad you found the channel & appreciate the sub❤️ Jason was actually born in the UP. Beautiful area. Lol just when we think we are dialed in we change things🤣 Thanks so much for watching & hopefully winter is almost done.
You guys have done a great job with your property. So the wood shed was more work than expected I have been going back and forth with using logs or lumber to build my wood shed. I think I’m going to use lumber for it now since it will be quicker. I can’t wait to get back up the snow has been melting every day was only about 5 inches the last time we were up. Haven’t had any problems getting back to the cabin.
@@JLGWoodscapes Yeah it’s been great getting up there more. We probably won’t get back up until the second weekend in March but that’s ok have plenty to do at home since we don’t have any snow on the ground.
I just found your channel and I love it. My husband and I have recently decided to do an off grid build. Hopefully within the next year. Do you mind me asking what state you are in? As well as the property we are looking at has solar and then a generator hooked up to propane. I'm curious do you all use a lot of propane? And do you live here full time? Thanks so much for sharing this video! I am going to go back and watch your other videos. This is not our skillset at all so I am trying to learn as much as I can. Many Blessing to you both!
Hello & so glad you found our channel❤️ That is so exciting you are planning your off grid journey- you will not regret it! It is so rewarding!! Our cabin is in Minnesota but we live & work in Nebraska. The dream is to eventually be full time. We run a Predator gasoline generator & a small solar bank. We use about 5 gallons a week. I am not overly knowledgeable about propane generators but alot of people use them so they must be decent. We do use propane to cook & for showers- we have 2 - 100 pound tanks & we have only filled one in 3 years. The only way to make it your skillset is to just simply start!! Best of luck to you!! Keep us posted. Can’t wait to hear more about your journey. Thanks again for watching❤️
Have a very safe and wonderful Valentine's Day
Thank you❤️ We hope the same for you.
When Jason picked up the two ends of the extension cord it reminded me of Back to the future

That darn wood shack😂 Totally worth it but totally labor intensive. Glad you have made it to your place more this winter. Crazy how mild it has been!!
