Independence Day Parade 2024 in Benque Viejo

The Independence Day parade 2024 kicked off from in front of the Cancha after the official ceremonies. The parade followed a route through streets around town. with police escort for better security. Accompanying in the parade were members of the Belize Defence Force. The parade had several beautifully decorated floats with their respective sound system. Sweets, ideals and other goodies were given along the way by those in some of the floats. The parade was made more exciting by the different dance groups and was even made better by the great music of the Benque Viejo Marching Band, and other marching bands from Guatemala. All in all, the parade was an exciting even with no type of disturbance, thanks to the people who held themselves to within the law. It was a wonderful time spent in Benque Viejo.
