September celebrations with children parades begin.
The St. Andrew's Anglican School held a civic parade as part of their September celebrations when Belize celebrates 43 years of Independence. The children accompanied by their teachers and their parents dressed with the national colours walked through some of the main streets of San Ignacio. Some vehicles with music accopanied them. There was security by the police and the SISE Traffic Department.

Celebrating Khailee's 12th Birthday

We spent a wonderful time at Blancaneux Lodge where we went to celebrate Khailee's 12th birthday as another gift to her. Apart from the wonderful food, we also took a walk around the area. I must say that we got an excellent service from the guys at the kitchen. Indeed, it was an excellent time we spent as a family.

Despite the rainy weather in Benque Viejo, marching bands from all over Belize assembled in Benque Viejo del Carmen and participated in a parade through some streets in this town. Spectators lined the streets to witness the colourful parade. Later on they went on to compete for the drumline inside the Marshalleck Stadium.

Benque Viejo del Carmen tiene gran potencial turistico por su cultura hispana y cercania a ruinas mayas. Hay que explotar esas caracteristicas para hacer reconocer a Belice en el mundo. El español debe ser cooficial y los colegios bilingües. 🇧🇿❤🇧🇿
