So here is our romantic engagement ring shopping adventure all over Los Angeles. From the most expensive rock to the cheapest on a budget, here is what we found!

Hey Amber, just letting you know there is a "moissanite diamond" which is WAY cheaper than traditional diamonds! You can find some for less than 1,000 dollars and they are also super hard to tell from real diamonds. Another plus is that moissanite diamonds are MORE sparkly than real diamonds!! Their shine is no joke!! So, if you ever want a sparkly ring (not necessarily to get engaged, just to wear one) consider getting a moissanite ring! I think it would look awesome! Guys, please help thumb this up so Amber can see!!

I might be the only one around here to think this, but where is the surprise part of an engagement? I think getting engaged is supposed to be a surprise, when you expect it the least
Hayky Vlog I think it's much better to have a conversation about it first, just so you both are on board and know what the other expects in terms of how the actual marriage will be (ex. Will you have children?), and then make the actual proposal itself a surprise. It puts significantly less pressure on both parties.
I'm sure that if there is an important relationship, they would talk about these things anyway.
What I meant was about the proposal itself, like not to expect when you will be asked. I think choosing your own ring and preparing so much takes the cool part of the proposal away.
No, honey. The surprise is the question. But a guy will usually approach you and try to agree on what sort of ring you want. He may ask you first and buy the ring later or talk to you and then, one day, surprise you with the question. Either way, you'll have an idea that it's gonna happen.

Fun fact: Diamonds are actually not that valuable, they are literally a dime a dozen. Company's only release so many diamonds a year so they keep their expensive value. We girls could live the inexpensive diamond dream if they weren't restricted to leasing so many diamonds a year!!! I cry.

I sent my husband some pictures I found online of rings that I liked when we talked about getting married and he picked one out with those in mind :) if your style is really simple like mine, promise rings can be more affordable options. I just wanted a stone on a band, and we got it for under 400 dollars. :)
I think they just wanted to see the style/design of the ring as a sort of an idea for her boyfriend it wasn't really about the price
It wasn't about telling him what to get or how nuch to spend. It seemed like she was trying to get ideas of what she liked and what looked good on her, so he wasn't shooting in the dark. I would do the same for my guy.

You cant do that with CZ or high end Swarovski - these are somewhat clear and overtime their sparkle will dwindle & be dull but real diamonds NEVER dwindle ❤️ they will always shine bright ❤️ - worth every thousands of dollars or paycheck ❤️

You can buy loose diamonds off mainstream market for a price that wont break your bank 😉😎 Thats the smart & budget friendly way to do it!! 👏🏼👌🏼 Once you pick out your loose diamonds, you can design the ring, give it to a ring manufacturer (again, stay away from mainstream) u gotta be savy and shop around! Affordable or reasonably priced ring manufacturers!
Buying a whole diamond ring in mainstream marketplaces will ALWAYS be overpriced! As an artist & soon to be ring designer, many of us hunt for our real stones off market. Its pretty sad alot of ppl dont know about this savy and smart strategy. They are all getting ripped off.

I'm actually glad my husband picked my ring. All I told him was that I prefer a princess cut. The ring was nothing like I imagined and I love it! He went to a place that custom makes them. He just told the designer what he noticed I like and what he likes and the designed created it.
