Does the defense ever explain someone knowing Thao for 15 years testifying he confessed to him, did I miss it? The length of knowing him, it can't be an attempt just to get a shorter sentence. That's what I can't get past. Unless they were enemies.

How is she going to have in her opening statement that they were boys that were killed? They were grown men involved in criminal activity and they put their self in that situation.
That's similar to saying prostitutes murdered by their John, somehow deserve it. Thankfully, the police have moved away from that outdated way of thinking.
