Sorry I do not believe her. The faces are rehearsed ,badly I may add. No mother would send her daughter off to school right after she killed her father. No mother would have ignored the fact that her daughter killed her father and not gotten her serious professional help. Had she gone to the police , nothing would have happened to her daughter at that age and if she really was defending her mother. She spent the whole time while her daughter was testifying playing with her hair and nails..no concern whatsoever for her daughter. Only a monster would kill her husband and after several years blame it on her daughter.
Agreed. It’s quite a plot too to mess with the minds of the jury, both of them claiming her daughter did it in self-defense while she is the one on trial. If there is no evidence to dispute this possibility, then it could very well work.

I'm struggling to follow all of this. I feel like I need someone to make some kind of written out map of this ladies stories... I can't follow them. I feel like I'm really trying to, but they just aren't making sense. I don't ever wish bad on people, but she needs to come forward and be honest. As a woman, this is embarrassing.

Things that made no sense to me in her testimony:
1) She gets mad at him for having to travel as a pilot so she leaves him to move back to NY. He follows her, punches her and she goes back to FL?
2) She had been pregnant and somehow her husband that she hadn't seen in months knew?
3) While sitting on a chair, her husband manages to close the patio door, pull her onto his lap, then he pushes her on the ground, and put his foot on her head all while still seated? Then the daughter shoots through the patio door and then the flavor of the day boyfriend grabs the gun and takes his turn for some reason?
4) She then takes a seven year old to school and the kid says nothing?

The defense attorney can lead the defendant. The prosecution can object if the questions lead into an area prohibited by rules or orders of the judge in that particular case.

After someone smashes your face repeatedly in the floor, you have a convo in room with your "traumatized " child who just killed her father and you drop off your children to school. Did anyone at school witness her bruises, anyone else during the following days? Did she get medical assistance. She just had an abortion, and she's been kicked in the side, abdomen? Clearly, she'd need medical care.

It is something that can be requested online where I am. There is then a process that happens, paperwork to fill out, lots of questions, backgrounds, reasons it would be needed, etc. Name changes has a very similar process as well. 💯😊

I'm survived atrocities as a victim of domestic violence by my ex-husband.
No matter how horrible he treated me, I would never have murdered him, let alone bury him in the backyard of the home I lived in with me and my children.

I don't know how this woman got off with second-degree murder, because as far as I'm concerned, it's premeditated all the way when you're burying a body in your backyard were you and your children live.
And let's say it was self-defense and you killed your husband. The first thing any person should do is pick up the phone and call 911 and tell them what they did.
And let's hypothetically say our daughter did this. We'd pick up the goddamn phone, call the police, and no there's nothing to be afraid of if that's what really happened.

This is so wild. I hope that some way they are able to prove things otherwise. I already know this story is going to fall apart. There's so many lies in this. She's never going to be able to remember all these lies and stories she told. She needs extra charges for getting her daughter to lie for her. It's so sad to see when people manipulate children.
I feel like there could be some good lessons that could be learned with the daughter. I'm sure she was terrified of her Mom. Like I would be. She just ya know to her dad so like I'm doing whatever she tells me to do. That's a wild experience for a kid to go through. She needs to know that lying is wrong and needs to be honest about what happened, but it is probably going to take a very special person to get her to talk about it openly. I hope that she is able to learn from this and be a better person. That's a traumatic thing to go through for anyone. She also lost both her parents in that second.
