For a novice like myself, this video made the most sense to me. I am a vocalist whom always relied upon others to handle the production side of things. Now that’s my employment situation has changed I am making the investment in my own home studio. I have a lot of catching up to do!! Looking forward to more videos like this. thank you
I am having a hard time replicating your approach here. Running LUNA on a Mac mini, everything updated. I don't have a midi controller so I am trying to enter my drum elements with my Mac keyboard. I don't see the option of entering different drum elements (bass drum, snare & highhat) the way you show. Hard to explain, but it's like it's set up to record what I enter, rather that the approach you show. For example, I want to be able (as you demonstrate), to set the time signature, and enter drum elements on each beat (one and a two, or 1 e and a). I think maybe it's in the way I've got LUNA set up for midi input, but I tried exploring those options and still don't get it. Anything you can suggest would be appreciated.
I love Luna. And, this is a great video. Had no idea this was so easy. I've been shopping for a MIDI controller to use with Luna for this very reason. Do you recommend a simple controller with not too many keys and some pads so I can play drums with my fingers?
A question, may i do pan in that hats on left or righ?
