Too late for a picture of the yarn stash! I went crazy winding all the yarn that was not enough to make anything I'd make and had two big boxes of nice yarn balls. Then my daughter came over and said she would take it all to the school where the girls have a knitting club. It was all acrylic, so good for that. Hurray! It's gone! Now I'm working on the projects!
All great advice! Going through my stash also inspired new projects and will help me make better buying choices. I wish I had thought about retirement homes before I! I used to work in a nursing home. There was an old lady who just sat there all day long. One day a nurse gave her a basket full of loose yarn. Later that day, the lady had wound all the yarn into balls! Someone dug up a pair of needles and by the next day, she was knitting a scarf! You may work a miracle like that!
