- I noticed that the Steamed Hams meme has been having a resurgence lately, so I thought I'd join into the craze with my own Steamed Hams edit. The edit where the kitchen is on fire is from Steamed Hams but Chalmers is obsessively investigative. www.youtube.co.... That's the only edit that I didn't make, but I wanted to include it because I wanted Chalmers to see the kitchen on fire.
This is even more realistic than the original
In the original, the northern lights happen in his kitchen. Not much realism.

Okay but the editing on "y'know these hamburgers are Krusty Burgers" is flawless, if I didn't know the original line I genuinely wouldn't have any idea that was edited. Top job
Of all the steamed hams versions I've seen this the worst I've seen Skinner lie. Like.... his lies were SO BAD that Chalmers was losing his mind with anger lol
this is a great edit, good use of using dialogue from other episodes

This reminds me of those science fiction stories where someone goes back in time to try to prevent something from happening, but it's just fated to happen and so the same results just play out in slightly different ways.

[Benson knocked on Mordecai's door to see Mordecai cooking lunch. Then, Mordecai opened the door to let his boss in]
Benson: Well, Mordecai, I made it, despite your directions.
Mordecai: Ah, Mr. Dunwoody, welcome. I hope you're prepared for an unforgettable luncheon!
Benson: Okay.
[Benson sat at the dining table to wait for the lunch made by Mordecai. Then, Mordecai went to the kitchen to get his food, namely toasted chickens, to eat with Benson so that he could get a promotion and a big salary from Benson. But, he was shocked after seeing his food burnt and really panicked if Benson saw it]
Mordecai: Holy Craps!!! My roast is ruined!
Benson: *Knocking Mordecai's Kitchen Door* Mordecai?
Mordecai: *Mordecai saw the Wing Kingdom Restaurant from his Window and had a Great Idea* But what if I were to purchase fast food and disguise it as my own cooking? *Chuckles* Delightfully devilish, Mordecai.
[Mordecai immediately jumped through the window and into the Wing Kingdom to buy chicken wings as Food that he prepared for Benson. But, without Mordecai realizing it, when he came out, he jumped into the window. Benson enters the kitchen to talk to Mordecai and is shocked to see his subordinates fleeing into the Wing Kingdom through the window. And that makes Benson angry and suspicious that Mordecai is doing something wrong]
Benson: MORDECAI!!! *With suspicion, he sat back down while waiting for Mordecai to return with his food*
Mordecai: *Bringing chicken wings after purchasing them from Wing Kingdom* Mr. Dunwoody, I hope you're ready for mouthwatering chicken wings.
[They both ate chicken wings. Benson, who had seen Mordecai escape through the window to the Wing Kingdom, was very suspicious and he asked his subordinates]
Benson: You know, these chicken wings are quite similar to the ones they have at Wing Kingdom.
Mordecai: Hahaha, no! Patented Peterson Wings. Old family recipe!
Benson: Really?
Mordecai: Yes!
Benson: Yes, and called them wings, despite the fact they are obviously Wing Kingdom.
Mordecai: *With panic* Y-Uh.. you know, the One thing....

Benson: *With suspicion and suspecting that the food he ate was not the Mordecai family's cooking*
[Suddenly, Mordecai heard the sound of smoke coming from the oven and he wanted to ask Benson for a moment to go to the kitchen]
Mordecai: Excuse me for one second.
Benson: Okay.
[Mordecai went into the kitchen to turn off the oven which was starting to burn. But, instead he made a big fire in his kitchen]
Mordecai: *yawns* Well, that was wonderful. A good time was had by all. I'm go to my bathroom.
Benson: Yes, I should be *It was then that he saw Mordecai's kitchen door which was emitting a lot of smoke* What the hell, what is happening in there?!
Mordecai: Aurora Borealis?
Benson: Ah... Aurora Borealis?! At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen?!
Mordecai: Yes.
Benson: I'll check it out!
Mordecai: Mr. Dunwoody....
[Benson immediately went into the kitchen and saw that Mordecai's kitchen was on fire. And he already knew that Mordecai was lying. Then, Rigby screams at Mordecai because their house is on fire]
Rigby: Mordecai! The house is on fire! Mordecai! Help!!!
Benson: MORDECAI!!!!!
[After that, Mordecai and Benson left the house]
Benson: Well, Mordecai. You're Fired!
[Benson leaves and leaves Mordecai's house burning. And, Mordecai has to accept that he has lost his job]
Rigby: AAAHHHH!!! MORDECAI!!! HELP!!!
Mordecai: Don't worry, Rigby! I'll call the Fire Department. And, I have one more message, Rigby. Now, Benson fired me. I'm sorry, Rigby.

Something interesting I think this version demonstrates: In the original, there's a sort of...momentum to it. Each lie simultaneously works just barely works yet also is ridiculous enough to wear Chalmers down in a sense. This builds up to the point where Chalmers is willing to believe "Aurora Borealis" and it feels like a natural conclusion.
By contrast, if Chalmers figures out just one lie, the whole thing comes crashing down.
