In the long process of rebuilding, the citizens of Ten-Towns have come closer together as a community and never forgetting the three heroes of Icewind Dale, the speakers erected a stone statue of a Dwarf, her armor as strong as her wisdom, a Tiefling Druid whose face lies with contempt and purpose of whom she is, and another Tiefling who faced diversity in his past. All three stand together staring east into the summer sun rising in the morning as Chwingas play silently in the snow at their feet."

Congratulations on finishing the Frostmaiden soundtrack! While my first character met his unfortunate end to half giants, his successor will hopefully bring an end to this endless winter. Can’t wait to see what you do next, but I’m sure it will be great regardless!

Absolutely epic music, which made a fantastic backdrop for a white dragon battle on the ice. The beats were perfect. Everyone loved it.

We did Rime this semester and oh my gosh. I had a comment on your Norsu the Awakened video, but I just have to say here, now that the campaign is over, your music really helped make this campaign. The DM used the tracks very strategically. We only heard "Summer is coming" in the final moments of the campaign, which were incredibly heartfelt and tear-jerking as we watched the first sunrise in the Icewind Dale in 2 years, looking east from the wall of Brynshander. People cried. We all cried, the 7 of us. Oh my god, it was awesome. holy shit. After a semester's worth of 8 hour long sessions every week, and an amazing finale with our fantastic DM, oh my god your "Summer is coming" music was simply perfect. Perfect perfect perfect.
Another soundtrack complete, another masterpiece ! You're the gem in our tRPG community. Any chance for a Descent into Avernus soundtrack ?

I'd love to hear a Dark Sun soundtrack: while not being a 5e module, it's a pretty popular D&D setting that really requires a particular mood and I think that you could totally do it justice.

Currently running Frostmaiden for my friends and this is honestly the first time I've looked forward to actually running a game. All the players are cooperative and seem to be having fun. I love it!

I am running the module for a while now and I can safely say it wouldn't be the same without your excellent music. Not only its awesome atmosphere during the game I find myself listening to the soundtrack while I do my GM prep as it gets me to Icewind itself mentally in an instant. I'm putting together a group for my younger brother and his friends and I was planning on running this cuz I have the book but still haven't ran it. now that I've heard this. I know I'm gonna blow them, this is exactly what I need
Everything here is fantastic. If I could offer any criticism it's that it's all so balls-to-the-wall epic that there's not much that can be used for quieter or spookier moments. It's massive boss-battle themes from start to finish, and almost every track could suit the dragon or Auril fight
You are absolutely right ! I try to add 1-2 "all-usage songs" per album and I am currently working on one with ToA. I must admit that they are not the most fun to compose and I try to underline the most memorable moments of the story at the cost of some depth in the overall soundtrack.

@@RPGMusicMaker I'm looking over it and figuring what I'd like to change. I think overall, I'll make the eternal winter be a new thing (they've been getting shorter, but this is the first time spring hasn't come at all), and have things steadily deteriorate in the Towns over the course of the game with the cult of Auril being the main behind-the-scenes villains, (and more of a driving force behind things like the duergar, etc, to try and unify the plot threads a bit) while the PC's actions determine if the Towns succumb to despair and infighting, or keep hope alive.
You have masterfully captured a really thematic Nordic theme to these tracks. Seriously, these are so rich and vibrant that I was compelled to comment and thank you for an incredibly well made collection of music.

Been using your tracks to supplement my Rime of the Frostmaiden table, thank you so much for the hard work you've put into it! Norsu, the Awakened is a track I frequently use, as it's become the track used for any enemy related to Auril (coldlight walkers, frost druids and their awakened animals, etc).
Can't wait to use Arveiaturace's theme, the party's currently on their way to the Dark Duchess and they'll be meeting her on Sunday ;)

I run a homebrew world, but there's a desolate tundra that my players don't even know they're heading towards. In it, there's a city that's been stolen by a vampire lord, who also stole the mother of the fighter in my group.
Yeah, I think I can make good use of this and your Curse of Strahd soundtrack when they get there.

I actually made norsu a sympathetic ally to the group, with his motivation changing to initialy attacking them to try and ressurect his master, he gives that up when the team convinces him that the giant (who was a friend to ten towns here) wouldn't want it... now after traveling with a mamoth for a few sessions the party is going to discover what happens to tributes to the snow maiden, in the form of a giant coldlight walker...
anyhow, your track named for norsu will serve well in this new context :)

I love these soudtracks, if they were extended so that each track was at least an hour long I would use it in my campaign
Glad you enjoyed them ! The extended versions on bandcamp are about 9-10 minutes long to fit with the maximum file-size for virtual tabletop platforms such as roll20 :)

There were parts of "Under the Aurora" that seemed inspired by Vivaldi's "Winter". I'm not saying it was, even if that piece immediately jumped to mind.
Perhaps you could make extended versions of the individual tracks if you haven’t done already. Otherwise, a masterful collection of music.

Unfortunately, I don't play D&D, but I really enjoy writing.
For two years I have been writing a story to which this Saundrack fits very well.
For those who are interested in my story.
Here is the legend of Altera.
In an icy cold land where the northern lights dance in the sky like dragons from an ancient time.
And where it was believed that every star carries the soul of a living being.
Was once an ancient kingdom ruled by a righteous king and a loving queen.
One child was born with bright blue eyes and black hair.
But not as black as the plumage of the ravens of our world.
Because all ravens in Altera are white as snow, they watch over souls and dreams and carry them to the crystal tree Lauriell, where the wolf queen Shura watches over them.
But with the birth of young Prince an old evil power awoke deep in the glaciers.
Sealed in the form of a gigantic sea serpent called Raknarkan.
The serpent that eats the stars, older than any current mountain and river, when there was only sjóormur and Andasjórinn.
A single mountain and a vast stripped sea.
Again, like 10,000 years ago, the king and queen faced the Titan with the help of the Wolf Queen.
In the shape of two white wolves.
The old and true form of the Alterians before they assumed their current form.
Long forgotten.
They fought courageously against the mighty monster.
However, there strength quickly tired out and when Altera was already believed to be lost.
The crystal tree, believed to be asleep, woke to life with its silver branches and golden leaves.
Broke through the ice and opened its blue buds, and the souls of the heroes of old gave them their powers.
With its powers they defeated the monster.
In which they merged with his soul and sealed him again.
Because Raknarkan is immortal.
And although Altera was saved, the imposing realm sank under ice and snow, and from then on was forever forgotten.
.....
Until, after 100 years, a team of researchers came across old ruins.
And the wheel of fortune turns one more time.
A soul is reborn whose existence one meant the fall of the empire.
But will chaos appear again?
Will it be again because of an awakened soul that the evil awakens?
Or can he change his own fate this time?

Unfortunately, I keep the extended versions on bandcamp as a way of thanking the people who are buying the album since it's optional and that everything is available for free on youtube and spotify ! I understand the struggle of it being a DM myself, I would suggest uploading them on your channel and putting them in a private playlist or simply add my songs to your playlist directly and using the UA-cam loop-function,

Sunblight is very reminiscent of the lower norfair theme from super metroid, at least for myself.

Hey! I LOVE this soundtrack. I had recently gotten Rime of the Frostmaiden and was looking for ambiance music to play in the background. Finding this, I DEFINITELY want to use it. I am asking though, one of my friends typically cannot listen to the music I play because he streams, and is scared of getting a copyright strike. I do not know the rules on Twitch, but I was wondering if you would be alright with us using the music on his streams? Obviously with links to your work (You deserve so much more then 5k subs). If you would rather not, I completely understand, and will not use the music for the Viewers.
