    When I’m feeling those emotions, I comfort myself the same way I comfort my babies… literally just shushing, patting and saying it’s ok. The emotions pass easier. Also, make sure you’re not scrolling too much, sometimes random things on the internet can make you feel some type of way. Get plenty of rest and eat good nutritious food. Trust me, you’ll be more resilient ❤

    The key is not to cut out emotions, in fact this is dangerous as you will become apathetic. Accept emotions and learn to live in harmony with them.

    • @loneranger7535
      @loneranger7535 Рік тому +10

      Actually the key is to cut off emotions. To be detached. The current age makes everyone like a child, with their emotions on their sleeves. The way is to be machine like and that's the only way to be human. Paradox but it's true

      @@loneranger7535no, that’s how/why we gave so many people end up intent on killing for money. No empathy for the victim or their family, just focus on the reward for having no emotions. This video is not well done; emotionless detachment and mindfulness don’t coexist. Whoever made this video made a serious serious mistake, because the video is initially promising reward for those with no emotion. The point is do the right thing and accept what follows, not be emotionless. The end of the video says that and it is is exactly what jayocean2021 said, accept and live in harmony with your emotions. Don’t cut off emotions.

      @@loneranger7535 Sorry no, that's wrong. Cutting attachment is okay, but the way is to transform emotions, to turn negative emotions into virtues.

    Cutting out emotions is impossible. The goal is to learn to not act out of emotion. This isn't done by suppressing or ignoring, but rather analyzing the emptions and coming to understand the causes. Then you need to come to understand the things that are usually triggering these emotions are not things under your control. Once you have this understanding, you can begin to slowly shift your focus away from the uncontrollable towards the things you can control. This doesnt happen overnight, and it isnt easy. However, if you just do a fraction better than yesterday, then you've progressed.

I am also faced this issue like some situation i cant control my emotions and i am very concerned the consequence of this emotions because sometimes i have no idea how i react a situation. What i learned from this video has emotion are the key factor of a human life if you have a good control about your emotions your life is more happy and enjoyable and without a proper control about the emotions we cant go forward and we may face challenges in your life.

    The Grate Mystery that created the Universe gave HUMANS Emotions for a reason. If monks make a pledge to own nothing, then they already have everything they want. NOTHING. Many spiritual leaders also explain to humans that their life itself is on loan as well as everything in their possession.
    I left Buddhism because of its passive nature I am a warrior heart so now I hang out with the Lakota when I can, when they'll have me.

    The various principal concepts in Buddhism saved my life. Raised as a fundamentalist legalistic pentecostal, I was angry, hurt, and disillusioned by the amount of hypocrisy I kept seeing from the pulpit to the pew. What I read in the Bible was devastating to women in general, but to any culture outside of "God's chosen" because their people - men, women, children, lifestock, EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE - could be slaughtered indescribably.
    I started to search for God for myself outside of religion. The more world cultural scriptural text that I read, the more I realized that they all have so much in common (even some verbatim wording in scriptural texts across Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and more) while they're busy arguing with each other that their way is the exclusive way, the truth, and the light. My concept and understanding of that Highest Consciousness has broaden exponentially and can't be labeled or described within one religious box if it can be explained at all. Buddha taught critical thinking way before his time. I've learned that I can breathe, meditate, and go within for ALL answers. I've never experienced this level of peace in my entire life.
