Hey man real quick, when you start off playing FAF your first 10 games kind of calibrate your ratings. So you will be matched with people way off your rating. After the first 10 or so games you will be matched with people with similar ratings. I looked up Mingan and he has only played 3 games hence why he was put up against someone with an 800 rating :)
I keep forgetting that. I feel so bad that people who are brand new get matched against people with a couple hundred games. Gotta get the word out I guess haha.
Big thumbs up to the idea of 0 as the rating floor. Also, I feel like the 10 first games when the ladder is calibrating, is when FAF has the opportunity to give a nice first impression for the new players and retain the player base.
Engineering stations CAN reclaim. I use them heavily on the enemy incoming direction, soaking up dead hulls to boost mass income. Super effective if T3.

I could probably do a whole video on that. I think it is in a pretty good spot from a balance perspective. I haven't really played enough Nomads though to say one way or another.
