  • Recorded at The Victoria Theatre Halifax, 01/04/23 for HAOS' production of School Of Rock The Musical.
I was playing guitar 2 part for this show. The numbering for the parts is pretty arbitrary with all 3 guitar parts having a good balance of rhythm & lead playing, solos, chord comping and melodies on both electric and acoustic guitar.
Guitar is a PRS SE Tremonti Custom Spalted Maple Ltd. Edition running through a Line 6 Helix LT.
Audio is a blend of my in ear monitor mix (from Behringer Powerplays) and the microphone on Zoom Q8n camera. This explains my guitar being significantly louder, this was not the FoH mix!

Do you tell anywhere what amp or amps you used and effect selection, just setup. Strings and neck relief, ht of srings to pickups etc. Not many people share this info but I'd love to know. I use to build custom guitars, but I'm always wanting to know the guitar setups. I have a number if guitars and always like to try something different as far as setups of complete guitar. Are the pickups stock from PRS or your own. What are some of your favorite or most widely used amps? Strings and picks. Etcetera. I just love your awesome ckean tone with just the right amount of grit for what your doing. Do you do studio work also? Sorry for all the questions. What was and is your background of training? Sorry just noticed yiu put in about the guitar but setup could you give some specs on that. Line 6 helix. I haven't heard of it but I haven't bought any new gear in sometime. I have the line 6 amp and the 1st POD that came out. I have quite a few 1st out gear lol. Orig Walkman which I used with Orig Rockman, 1st Zoom floor effects, first Zoom that came out with a kittle speaker built into it that you could close and just use effects open and use built in speaker. Zoom 7010 I think. I have a amp with a speaker built into a cigarette box, you plug it into a 4x12 cab and IT cranks. JUST input and output a collectors item. Lol There's a lot of equipment that I'm sure I'd like and if I went iut and looked I buy mire than I need as I have now. I'd like to sell a lot of what I have rack gear and all and go back to the bare minimum pedals. I have some gear that I bought years ago and it's never been plugged in, only taken out of the box and looked at. I bought gear to setup a nice over the board home studio, but was in a auto accident and became disabled. So it sits. I had a rackmount computer made that has never been used and would need a new motherboard. Everything I own looks brand new even the gear I do use is in excellent condition. I have an acoustic that is 47yrs old and it in excellent condition only 900 in the world when I bought it. I tried a row of them could have bought one that was in the lower 200 but I bought 727th guitar made. Inky because iut if all I played it sounded the best. Has book matched back and sides of burled Mahogany, cedar top very straight grain , mah neck with ebony fretboard. It a Alvarez Yari DY50. It wasn't made at the factory. It was made a Yari's small guitar studio where 20 worker and himself build customs guitars and one offs. I have papers in it and papers to sign it over to person, if I decide to sell it. I also have a classical that I had built in Spain. Took 6yrs to get it. I paid so much down to get it started then while I was touring in Europe I went and picked it up. That was almost 40 years ago. I paid $6000.00 then wonder what it would cost now. He only built so many a year. He was so back logged when I ordered mine. I had played one from a classical professor who also performed and recorded.
