Actually, I can confirm someone was playing something similar to this at Mythic, not Platinum-Diamond. I faced them myself a few days back. I didn't see the entire list when they played against me but Cenote Scout, Jadelight Spelunker, Hexcatcher, Schooner, Vodalian Mindsinger and Sentinel of the Nameless City were all there. The main difference is that their deck also had some Grafted Identity main deck, at least three because three showed up in game 1. Along with some Citanul Stalwarts iirc. Probably the same player?
very cool deck. and very cool to get some content that isn't mh3. the draft format seems terrible and i have no interest in timeless. (historic is still cool.) but having this mix of content is great. =)
I have. And between the color and archetype discrepancies and having one common that is better than almost all rares and mythics, it feels like a disaster. The cards are fun, and I want to like it, but it’s terribly imbalanced, which I don’t find fun.
@@doormatt72 I mean isn’t good for a set to not be based around busted mythics and rares. Instead having playable commons and uncommon is way healthier than a set where I have to high roll to win or have a functioning deck, especially in a draft environment.

Ive been playing nikachus explorer lists. Starting with cenote scout always feels so good. A 2/2 or drawing through a land is soooo good

Can someone please explain why blocking doesn't count as targeting? (Ex: when choosing a hexproof attacker to block)
Combat isn't the same as an ability or spell performing some action that requires a target.
