You know who is awesome in this shell? Bristly Bill ! He's a plant so he gets counters whenever roots activate but also he can double +1/+1 on every creature you control ... as an activated ability that can be passed by the cauldron and with mana gereating plants everywhere...
I love insidious roots so much! Miss the butler after rotation but maybe we get something else which supports the strategy in bloomburrow, otherwise honest rutstein does a solid job i guess
I tried this deck out, and I stumbled upon an infinite with 2 Rutstein's, 2 Roots, and a Tyvar creating you the world's biggest garden. If you somehow got all those things on field, the opponent probably went afk, but it's still a neat combo.
ive been playing a solar flare deck ill.timed.explosion and unstable glyphbridge for boardwipes campus revolution and abuelos awakening for reanimation with phyrexian portal and one with the multiverse as targets for our reanimation spells....deck is actually pretty fire with the amount of artifacts and enchantments that double as removal
No idea how that dimir player at the end isn't bronze rank so many plays that made no sense whatsoever. Can't stand losing to people who make stupid plays, i don't mind when they make smart plays but something about losing to a lucky person who did everything wrong is infuriating for a split second
I'm afraid there will be more non standard content though.. Its going to be very difficult to keep doing something new in standard every day till Bloomburrow releases :/
Would be nice to get an Alchemy upgrade for this deck as there you have a strong 3/3 2-drop for this deck - I face this deck somewhat frequently in Alchemy

Woah that's genius
Undead butler is the current standard stitcher's supplier. It's actually pretty fantastic in roots.

Roots + Agatha's? Say less! Im 100% in! The Cauldron is my bestie for the Cookies deck as it is!

Have been running my own roots for a while now, this list is seems really interesting and I am excited to try it out!
Honest Rootstein! 🌱🎃🖤💚
I’m so glad you’re posting standard gameplay again 😩
I will try to keep it up!!
All formats deserve love
what do you think about playing the black one drop with back up? could get some crazy card draw with the cauldron
Been getting back into MTGA and playing your Mono Black Skellies deck. This one looks like tons of fun, is it worth the craft?

Have you tried out Sandstorm Salvager with this? Seems like a potential good combination with Roots/Agatha's
Dang, the thumbnail made me think that you actually pulled off the infinite plant combo
Question about your sponsor if you have an answer, but do the Katana sleeves come in pink?
I see a soul cauldron video, I click play
I would suggest that if you go for using Roots, you try to replace as many creatures with Plant types as possible. It might give better "feels". :)
Seems like Mosswood Dreadknight would be a shoo-in for this deck, to synergize with Runstein's discount and trigger Insidious Roots repeatedly...
It’s just too slow unfortunately
Great card if you go midrange instead of Tyvar cauldron combo
@@darthader3507 the deck just doesn’t really function well as midrange against the other stronger decks in the format. The combo is its main wincon
I use case of the stashed skeleton to search for Roots 😊
I noticed Unlicensed Hearse is a permanent on your sideboards. ❤
It is!
Rest in Peace says hello ❤️

No Tyvar? No space in three drop slot with HR in the list I guess?
she's playing 4 Tyvar
If you click “play” on the video then you’ll see that she’s actually running 4 :) Hope this helps!
Why does this deck feel like it should be really good but it underperforms Everytime? Like it's missing just a couple of pieces to be good
That's exactly how it feels.. Hopefully bloomburrow gives it the push it needs
Thank god the non-standard nonsense is over 🙏
😂

That's ok! I watch the videos anyway 😂. I just can't play the decks myself

@@redmardamsma7917 on alchemy is more easy opponent take your cards and make it for you 🤣
Bruh this video is upsetting to the insidious roots community
I'm part of the community tho😔
This build's been around forever. Not even playing Bristly Bill. Love the channel tho!!!
