Saw the exhibition in Sydney (travelled from Melbourne) in January ; big Stones fan...pretty emotional seeing such precious, wonderful items of my heroes.
I would think that a lot of this must be down to Bill Wyman as he had the most comprehensive collection of memorabilia - even Beatle stuff and was consulted when they made the Beatle documentary in the 90's I think it was.
@@no1nestandsalone387 He must have a very ordered mind. Mick Jagger criticized his book on the Rolling Stones as reading a like a ''f&£& ing itinery.'' His hobby is treasure hunting with a metal detector which sort of makes sense. :)
Pretty Cool video, thanks for posting this video. I went to the Rolling Stones exhibit at the Municipal auditorium in Nashville this past Thursday. I recommend seeing it during the week, the employee told me it's really crowded on the weekend. Very impressive and the Highlight for me was to Touch a Keith Richards guitar. They offer a AAA, AARP and military discounts. Just ask at the ticket counter.
I started off idolizing them as a teenager in the 70s and of course became more critical through the years, but I can probably relate to the Stones more than to any other band / artist, in so many respects. Their technical abilities aren't high on the list of reasons why. I find out more and more that's not what it's about in popular music.
It is amazing How the brain works ONE SAYS EXIT THE OTHER SAYS HOW TO MAKE THE END BETTER .That is what makes Mick Jagger whom he is SUPER THINKNG NOT ORDINARY THINKING.. Go Britain smart people !
Oh God ... the famous Edith Grove apartment that Mick, Keith and Brian shared before they became famous ... What a pigsty! How could they live in these conditions? What a mess
Aye, yet their beginnings were around Waldorf Street in Soho, the red light district. Remember Long John Baldry with a hat collecting pennies down on Waldorf?
Chitown, Navy Pier. One of the things among many to stand out is the reel of Jumping Jack Flash. Good on the 9th take and on a mere 7" common reel tape and mixed on a simple 8 track console. Charlie's traveling kit in a box for Street Fighting Man too. Well worth the money
Not just one the greatest rock n roll band in the world but THE greatest rock n roll band in the world. period. Long live the Stones.
That's it! It's an INSULT to say 'just one of the greatest'
There was, is, and of course there will never be something equal by far!
Got that right! THE GREATEST! And no close runner-ups

Absolutely agree
Its great when you go to a Stones gig and see the vast age span of the fans, from teens to pensioners.
Went to this exhibition in London . Very good. A great insight into the band and the way they lived and worked

Thanks for the clip of one of your memorabilia shows. Nice to see and hear some of your articles and points of view.
LOVE this! Thank you UA-cam, as always! 😚 😚 😚
The only thing wrong about this video is Matt Lauer.
Yah they should hv used Savannah Guthrie or Hoda Kotbe.. I think mick would hv loved to have talked with Hoda.
@Bswag Swag he's still a creep

Really? I had no clue. That’s so neat!

Yes, let's remember, BRIAN JONES also lived in that flat!!!
they never acknowledge brian jones...i wonder why
para mi ,jesucristo y Mick jagger pasaron a la posteridad famosos dos locos super,,!!!!
Nothing said or mentioned about Brian
Nothing about Bill either. And Bill was much more professional and was much longer than Brian in the group.
@@peliche77 Brian Jones was the founder of the Rolling Stones
Brian who?
They don’t care anymore. It’s all about them.
it's amazing these men don't want to stop
so old and frail
Myra Jaan Not frail at all.
They're so skinny and weak
Obviously they take drugs to keep them going
Wtf is wrong with you?
Lucille kept on chooglin til the end. What else they gonna do 'cept for play in a rock and roll band?
If you saw mick move on stage you wouldn’t call them frail
Dioses!!!, los padres de la locura!!!!!,
Matt Lauer
E quella è una fish!
don't talk to them
Huh?
matt lauer so it gets a dislike
Keef
God. mick Jagger is old
78
Either Mick had plastic surgery or he's been replaced by a younger version. His newer face don't have the wrinkles, lips, veins sticking out.
🙈🙉🙊🤣😁😁
It's called "Commercialism!"
they never matched the Beatles in quality ever
Nobody cares about the beatles here. This is a stones video!
But they never pretended to be anyone's darlings either
Never?, No that's incorrect.
The Beatles might be the most overrated collection hacks to ever make it big int be music industry
