I enjoy seeing Tiril come into the range, watch her focus on the targets from the moment they are visible to her all the way through her shooting. I think that extra time she spends focusing while skiing adds to her shooting
I feel privileged in the fact I started getting into the sport around the same time as she started to conquer the sport. I adored watching her race and will never forget her humour. A true great in my eyes and she will be sadly missed.
Thanks a lot! Very interesting analysis: it's all about timing. I suppose her trainers coached her to get a lower heart rate entrying the standing range. Would be very interesting to see how she prepares the Olympic challenge (freaky weather circumstances)
I truly believe if Tiril can bump up her prone percentage and keep her standing and skiing strong she will break her own record this season and destroy everyone at the Olympics
Great video! One thing, though, the women's team won a bronze in the Sochi relay, with Ukraine winning the gold. Her Olympic gold was in the mixed relay.
I recommend watching the whole video of that 😂 I didn't understand a word because I don't speak norwegian but it was still very entertaining 😂 ua-cam.com/video/d3IC3dw1Vls/v-deo.html
She didn't break the record of wins per season though, if I'm not mistaken. I believe Magdalena Forsberg won 14 races one season, although I can't remember which one. Anyway, great video!!! I would also love a video on Marte's story as it seems a lot more interesting than Tiril's to me. Especially since Marte was not a very good junior at all. Others I'd love to see videos on are Marie Dorin Habert, Gabriela Koukalová or Lisa Theresa Hauser. Keep the good work coming!
You are correct, she did break the record for most wins by a Norwegian (beating Tora Berger) but Forsberg does still hold the all time record. I will look into Marte for sure. I already have LTH and Gabi lined up. 😉
@@BrianHalligan-USA And Kaisa Makarainen shooting analysis, please. I would really like to know what was so special about her prone shooting in seasons 2013/14 and 2016/17 compared to others ....
@@BrianHalligan-USA Because I find out that Kaisa in season 2011/12 was just 79.0% in prone position. Maybe you find that information too. I would like to know. Because in season 2013/14 in prone position was Kaisa 92,3%.
@@BrianHalligan-USA that would be very interesting espiacially the expert commentary on NRK is Ola Lunde, a former Biathlon athlete if I am not mistaken
Let me know who you want to see a story on next!
Nice, thank you, if possible do a tribute to JT BOE and JH KLAEBO !
JT Boe is Definitely on my list. Klaebo... maybe 😂
Hauser?
Doro
Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen!

Loved the addition of the boa!
Great video and analysis! Would love to see a video on Marte Olsbu Roiseland and how she managed to get 5 gold and 2 bronze medals in Antholz 2020.
Good feedback. I'll add it to my list
Great video! Love Tiril!
Great video, Bri. I don't dig snakes though, but if that what Tiril used to make Her focus, then well done to Her.
The most beautiful and cool and sympathic and athletic Biathlon woman!

Thank you. Great video about my most favorite girl on the tour. I am so looking forward to the new season.
Glad you enjoyed it! Subscribe for more!

That was a test, only true biathlon fans would pass. :D
Amazing content!
Appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it!
Impressive and inspiring story. Thank you. I liked the boa at the end! 🙂

Thank you for this video, please do the same video about Johannes Tignes Boe
I would love a video on what you think of JT Boe’s rifle changes. Seems like the commentators are always talking about it.
That one would take some research but I'll see what I can dig up...

And now Marte Olsbu Roeiseland is challenging this record. I think she won all but the Antholz races this season
Hey, @Brian Halligan. Can you make also the shooting analysis of former Finnish biathlete Kaisa Makarainen the same way as you did for Tiril?
will do.
@@BrianHalligan-USA Great. I hope you'll do it great. :P
Nice
Can we get a video on the story of arnd pieffer?
Peiffer video coming out in -2 months.
Экхофф!!!
I'm a Roiseland guy personally.
Very sad her illness lead to retirement this year.
She just comfirmed her retirement..
Great video Brian! Are you thinking of doing more like these where you focus on one athlete? RJ (biathlonanalytics.com)
