This is BRILLIANT. I have heard of silicone molds but not seen anyone make them like this. And you did all those other pieces with these as well? That is just awesome! Thank you for sharing!!
I recently just got into candle making and have become quickly obsessed. But it's a bit of a learning curve with frost and pour points. You make beautiful candles and have really creative techniques. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and tips for us newbies 💜🙂
It is a lot of info to consume. I always suggest starting with one wax and perfecting it. And you’re welcome. Once you figure it out you’ll be even more obsessed like the rest of us lol
Hola Nina!! Fue increíble este video!! Quiero comenzar a realizar velas!
Fried chicken molds!! I love it thank you!! Please share from Rescue Reaper to adopt a rescue pet. I will most definitely subscribe and thank you for sharing as I want to make beautiful candles as well. Great job you!!!!
Do you freeze the fruit? I am so impressed. The moulds are anywhere from £14.00 to £29.00 which is more in US dollars. I can't wait to try this! I am a Fan Forever!
So I tried this method and it works amazingggg very detailed molds, however, the smell is super potent and it transfers to my wax, which can’t be good to breath in when burning that wax, toxic, is there something I should know to avoid this? Wait a period of time or wash the molds with something specific? I washed with soap and water but didn’t work which is such a shame cuz these molds turn out amazing!
Do you know a way of getting rid of the strong vinegar smell from the silicone, and do you always use wax inside your silicone molds. Thanks for the video
Hi Nina, great video! I have just tried it and hope that it works. May I ask you how long the silicon needs to cure? Around 24h or should I live it for longer.? Thanks!!
I have done a lemon slice with this method. And it turned out decent. I sell a strawberry lemonade candle using the mold. If you're looking to do multiple I would try the rubber silicone pour method. I think it will catch more details.
I don’t so. I would believe this silicone to be toxic for anything using to ingest. But the other molds they use in stores are silicone based. Not sure that this is the same though.
Thank you for this, I’ve just recently started making candles, I didn’t think it was this easy to make a mold! Thank you!

Do you have any videos about making candles this was a great video
Yes I have a few candle making videos on the channel

Them wings are 🔥
Thank you!

Time and sitting it outside to air out
Hi Nina, great video! I have just tried it and hope that it works. May I ask you how long the silicon needs to cure? Around 24h or should I live it for longer.? Thanks!!
24 hours is just fine. I allow mine to cure for about a week to get the strong odor out
Can you please give me the name of the silicone you’re using? Thank you
I love the strawberries they really turned out nice do you think you can maybe put the link on where you buy your products
are you looking for the silicone?
Yes
Can I use a plastic cup to make the molds in?
Can you use these molds for soap making? Is it skin safe?
Do you think this method would work for lemon slices? I know u can pat dry a strawberry but lemon slices can be juicy...thanks for the.video

How much time should we wait to dry?
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing.. What color red paint did you use? Endless possibilities 😂😀 I am so inspired.
I use red dye chips from flaming candle
Hi there, great video bu the way I was wondering does the silicon mold become hard and stiff with time or does it keep its elasticity?
It keeps it elasticity. It actually becomes softer with use.
I seen at the end of your video that you had waffles what do you use for the syrup if you don't mind me asking
I use gel wax for the syrup look
Can these molds be used for modeling clay & resin too? Thank you for this tutorial it’s a neat technique
I use ParaSoy candle wax as my medium
I’m not about clay or resin but I can imagine so. They are flexible molds though. Not stiff
Awesome tutorial, thank you 🙂
Can these molds be used for chocolate & fondant too?
I don’t so. I would believe this silicone to be toxic for anything using to ingest. But the other molds they use in stores are silicone based. Not sure that this is the same though.
How neat! What did you use to make the strawberries pictured at the end? Clay?
Candle wax
Haha... um this is specific to her candles so obviously its wax
You make it look easy.
I tried this and found it difficult with the silicone.
It's not the best option. My wax smelled liked silicone even though I wants 3mths before I used. They tear too
👍👍👍👍
Do you sale your molds?
Is that clear silicone sweetie ?
Yes it’s the clear one from Walmart.
@@TheCandleLady thank you sweetie
I’ve found that cornstarch works better than the dawn
Ive tried and failed miserably. Maybe one day i will give it another try shot.
