I saw on the packaging it says no to use oil with the hair wrap, has using oil ruined your hair wrap?

No it hasn’t at all. I have seen any discoloration or any other damage. I use very little oil though

Do you find using this to be better than just putting your hair in a pineapple?

I do. I never put my hair in a pineapple at night because it stretch the front of my hair out too much and the ends of my hair get frizzy faster.
