That lovely piece of hemp reminded me of the slow stitched fabric flips I watched Purple Cottage Crafts do yesterday. They were right up your alley. Think I need to get my scraps out now after watching these, just lovely!💕
Oh, Rachel! I so enjoy watching your videos! You share stories and anecdotes that make me laugh out loud, CONSTANTLY! (like talking about how you're afraid of the volleyball, because I'm the same! and when you were talking about the beach a few weeks ago and explained how you don't go in all the time!) And I enjoy my morning coffee while you sometimes enjoy sips if your own... I'm a Chicagoan relocated to Hawaii, and when you talk about the heat, I GET IT! Thanks for sharing your humor and your daily stuff, as well as your beautiful work! I agreed today about how the days go so quick! I can't seem to accomplish everything I plan, but, I know I'm not the only one! 😉 *One of the reasons I enjoy watching your videos is that I sort of get a sense of accomplishment, even though I am not the one who accomplished the actual task! My children used to make fun of me for watching exercise videos because they said watching the videos didn't count as doing the exercise! (As I would sit in my lazy boy and sip my coffee... 😂🥴😃) I do get stuff done, but in my own time...
So fun, Rachel! I think I might have enough scraps to give this a try! 😂🤣. I really do need to have a major scrap use it up session! These will be on the list. Thanks for the inspiration! Went to see Laurie’s too....love her layering! Hugs! Thank you so much! 🤗❤️
On the big clips I try to take a pair of needle nose pliers and curl the end in a very tight circle motion. Makes a little hook. Looks pretty on the ‘wrong side’ page. These edge thingies are beautiful . For a while I thought you were going to end up working on your knees!Lol!
I really like how these came out! I might grab a bunch of scraps and take them away with me this weekend and make these because we get one TV channel up in the country! Either that or drink wine! Hey, why not do both! Lol! Thanks, Rachel!💙
These are very pretty done in your style. Part of the fun of sharing the idea is to see where other people take it. It always takes a different form coming from another person's perspective.
Love these great way to use up our long cut offs. Tfs i shall have a bash ay these. Don't worry about us getting bored we only here to hear your news haha we sre fine with just chatty videos we don't need new projects all the time ☺
I so agree with you about tidying up, you can never find your stuff. I need to clear off my dining room table but i know i will not be able to find my stuff when i need them. Drives me nuts. I really like the scrunchy fabric and bias tape. Looks great.
Love these page edgers. I'll Have to watch Lori's vid that inspired you. I watched her video and loved her beach journal. I subscribed to her channel. You both marked some awesome page edgers !!!
Yes very nice..I did some of these a few weeks back in a journal..not as many layers though..will have to revisit it and add some more pretties like yours...finally did some book page pockets yesterday too like you did a few videos back...🌷
Love these and they are so handy to have a bunch of these already done to add to your journals! I love making embellishments almost more than I do journals. It is fun, easy and instant gratification for those of us who want to get things done to see the finished project!
"When in doubt, tear"! I love that saying lol! That shop that etsy shut down, could possibly have something to with someone stealing Artymaze's designs. Which was really disappointing because you guys work so hard and spend a lot of hours making digi's so then for someone to use them as their own really sucks! I don't think I've ever saw you do paperclips. That would be nice to see your take on them. These scrappy embellishments turned out really cute. These are very similar to when you and Sarah did them. I like them. Great job!! I was behind 2 videos so I didn't realize you had a paperclip video. Duh!
Hahaha 🤣 ! I didn’t see any artymaze paper there but I think they are printing copyright designs on rice paper . Congratulations on winning Gayle ‘ s giveaway! 😅
The other day you were showing altered paperclips and thought that backing would make them snag. Here is a video that I followed and it worked out very well...no snag paperclips ua-cam.com/video/Rz_j2XT9IKw/v-deo.html&feature=share done by a lady and her daughter . Their channel is called "No-Snag" Hidden Paperclip Embellishment - Spectrum Art. Thank you for sharing everything with us and please turn on your camera when just working on things we've seen you do...I love watching you and we can work along as we watch. You are an inspiration. Hugs to you and Lulu....
I have to admit ,your scraps of scraps gives me nightmares, when does the scraps become rubbish? 😹or is there no such thing in your craft room? I,m finding the amount of paper and supplies that has appeared in my life since I started journaling instead of scrapbooking just over the top! I wonder if anyone else feels like me? Lizzie..xx
This is a great idea for the scraps and I love the paper clips. Enjoy the Beach tonight and sending you strength for your sad day tomorrow.
Thank you so much!

Little snippets are so much fun to make. And they really do a lot for the page for being so little.
Thank you so much!
Fastest fussy cutter in the north south east or west! Pretty embellishments today.

SO LOVELY-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
Thank you so much!
Lovely scrap decorations! 💕
Thank you so much!
I have a word. Bird bird bird is the word. Keep giggling about the old man.
Hahaha we do too!
Look up "double sided hidden paper clips"
That will explain "using both sides" and that way there will be no snagging on your lacy bits!
Thank you so much!
The clips and embellishments are so pretty!! ❤️❤️
Thank you so much!
So simple but they look brilliant tfs xx
Thank you so much!
They came out so awesome. Thanks for sharing 😍🌴
Thank you so much!
As always- super fun to spend an hour in the morning, watching your video and having my morning cuppa!!
Thank you so much!

Great idea, Rachel thanks! I just came up with another idea to go with these :)
Oh great! Thank you so much!
Heh you're having you're last coffee as I'm trying to drink my first!
Thank you so much!
Maybe you could curl the exposed end of the clip so it wouldn't catch on the stitches?
Thank you so much!
It’s not so easy because it’s new to you. I’m thinking I would be stumped making these.
Of course fabric ones are to be scheduled Please. I cut out tons today so I can do more.

Hahaha some of them made it into the bin. Thank you so much!
It is usually disastrous to tidy up isn't it??? Much better to stick to the organized mess style of working.....
I think being too tidy causes many problems, lol!
