Thank you so much you make it all so clear .I love your metallic yarn but as I couldn't find it out here in Oz I have brought peterpan moondust with lovely shiny colors through it .I can;t wait to get started just waiting for my yarn to arrive and I will be all set.Im truely glad I found you on here you are a gem .
huntlymyhuntly Yes the only place to find this "I love this yarn" is Hobby Lobby..and its wonderful!..I do appreciate your kind words and support..and good luck on you afghan...ty so very much for being here!!!
This was my first afghan. I adore it! It's so easy! Well, except for that one stitch, you know which one I'm talking about, it's in the seventh row, yeah, THAT ONE! But overall this made up is a marvelous and lovely piece. Thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial video, I have severe problems with only a written pattern. I can't wait to get yarn to make this. Its beautiful. Appreciate your video so much. Happy crocheting.
Thank you for this video! It is so helpful! I did wonder though, what size blanket will this made. The pattern didn't specify. I am trying to make a full size blanket for my daughter and wondered how many hexagons I will need.
Thanks for this pattern :) I'm actually going to use this to make a tree skirt, but I've been looking all night for what wanted and I finally found it :)
Thanks for this great video. I wanted to make this afghan, but as I am new to crochet was struggling with the pattern. After following-along with the video I am well on my way to getting this afghan done.
I saw this same hexagon design posted on instagram but there was no pattern info in it and the post was not in english , ty for doing this video as now i have something i can learn from
I've seen the written pattern and am glad for this well done video tutorial. One thing that's got me stymied is how much yarn to buy. The pattern directs so many ounces of each color but how many yards is that supposed to be? Different yarns have different actual weights in ounces/gm per skein, and 5 ounces of one yarn my be 370 yards while as little as 260 yards of another yarn. How much yarn of each color did you use?
LOL I don't know how I did it, but have seven points of the snowflake! could not figure out why it wouldn't lay flat like yours =) oh well, try try again and use this for a frilly doily =D Thank you, your easy to follow!
lol just work with it is all i can say..if you followed the video from start to finish and didnt walk away from it at any point you wont have more than me:)...Good luck
Hi! I have tried the link and cannot access this pattern. Would you please post the instructions so I can follow it? Their website appears to be not working. Thank you!
I wanted to print the Snowflake Afghan pattern but it seems the art of tangle site is now art of football. I do better when I can follow written instruction, do you know how I can find that please/
My point was if I'm looking at my stich work while trying to learn this, its important to me to have those verbal steps in there also. Also the thing that bothered me the most was when you got into the outer rounds you would say "in the next gap" when in reality when LOOKING at the video you were going over FOUR "gaps" It was constant pausie and rewind. LOVE the snowflake though. (and thats why I suffered through and plugged along) Oh and I've been crocheting since my mom taught me at 6 years old soooo A thank you for the feedback would have been more appropriate instead of defensiveness and making assumptions of the capabilities of who you're responding to. You have a great day also ;-D
+Holly Noel Holly, I am in no way intending to be defensive..completely opposite, im being totally honest with you and many times in this world, ppl do find those of us that are honest and straight to the point confused with being defensive, but im not like that at all..So plz dont take it that way...My point is this...As an instructor, and many i know and have talked to agree, feel that their are just many things that have to come natural when doing patterns, such as Yarn over, if you know we are working in DC, HDC, etc, you know to yarn over..it doesnt need to be addressed each time, it becomes part of the stitch...as for the Gap issue, if you were understanding the Gaps we were working, you knew what gaps were being addressed,,these tutorials are about being able to work with us as we teach and not expecting the Instructor to have to pin point so much fine detail, especially if those fine details, are already taken care of in prior videos ..once you enter a tutorial that is more advanced, those fine details are not touched on as much and shouldnt need to be at that point...and i do try my best at the beginning(not all the time, but most)of my tutorials to let you know what stage pattern they are, so you know before doing them...I know many Instructors that do not do this, not only myself....Im very sorry you are having such a hard time understanding this pattern...but my reviews were excellent and the designer and writer of this pattern was extremely happy with it as well....Just keep in mind,, ppl learn and perceive instruction in different ways..and nothing is wrong with that, but in the same token dont say the instructors are the reason you cant do this or that or because they didnt do this or that...We are working very very hard to bring these free tutorials to you and do so much hard work and lots of long hours in the process of doing so....We do this to try to help you understand:)..If you have any questions , im more than happy to help..Thx

I'm making this for my 4 yr old granddaughter in Frozen colors. I'm looking for input on adjusting the size down to a smaller version. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
+Val Goralski You would have to just go by the amount she has stated in the pattern and add up your skein totals meaning the yardage of each skein. She has given you the exact amount in ounces you need.their is not much more I can do to elaborate on that amount....I can say its better to have to much than not enough..
Dear stitchnstacy. Is a 5 point 5 and A size h or g I,ve been crocheting since I was 7 years old Thankyou Susan morris from hyde park in Boston Massachusetts

+Holly Noel Holly, Yarn Over is the very very first step any crocheter should have learned when picking up a hook and yarn and making that first stitch..if you are still needing that explanation everytime when you are working a pattern, you really should not be working a pattern of this nature just yet...this is not a beginners pattern...these steps were very thoroughly explained ...not only in carefully but in several clips and in several videos..according to my ratings, charts and graphs all over the world, this is one of my top tutorials...so please pay attention to the level of pattern you are doing...I do not explain Yarn Over in any video past the very first beginner video, learning how to hold your hook, yarn and how to chain...I wish you the best of luck in learning to work these patterns and crocheting:))..Have a great day.
This pattern is no longer available on the website so I’m glad I was able to find it on here.

The website with this pattern is gone. I found it on the Wayback Machine.

Thank you for this! It is so pretty!!! P.S.- I love your frog tattoo.
I have a quick question. By using the white with metallic, if the blanket was washed, how well would the metallic gold up? would it shrink/pull?
hold not gold
So I looked at the pattern. do you think six skeins of the white would do it, or a little more ? plus blue of course .lol . thanks
