@ that’s a crazy goal but I’m all for it. My 3v has 117k so seeing yours gives me confidence that I can keep her going and upgrade over time. I just did the timing kit so fingers crossed that the front cover won’t have to come off again for a good long while lol
@@holdenweisbecker199 haha my next vid is from a pulley cracking my timing cover and I replaced it in under 8 hrs. I'm also hoping that won't have to come off for a while lmao
@ oh yeah, I remember seeing that on insta, that sucks man, but glad you got it done. Honestly the hardest part for me on the cover was trynna get those stupid power steering mounting bolts to thread back in
my 3v is at 280k planning to rebuild top end. hopefully bottom end is good and the motor holds compression but man running into so many little issues recently and it’s just so unmotivating lmao. glad yours is going well bro
@ i’m sure i will. rn on my list is full head rebuild, timing, cams. find oil leak, figure out clunk from the front suspension, new front brake kit, fix the pinion seal, shifter bushings. i’m swamped 😭 and yesterday my fuel pump access point had fuel laying there so i gotta figure out wtf happened there. it’s a new pump o ring and lock ring so i’m at a loss🤣 this hobby has its ups and downs but damn these downs suck😭😭
Thanks will do! I got it in September 2022 completely stock hints the username lol. (besides all the awful louvers it came with). I didn’t really start modding it crazy until end of 23 to 24. then I bought my camera rig for all this stuff. I’d say I’m a little over halfway done with the car now and there’s a lot I still need to do (not necessarily changing just improving on what it is rn)
Haha yeah they aren't pretty but luckily the only thing that can see it is roadkill. If they ever need to come out I'll need to have a new set of pipes already on the way lol
I know that you do basically all the work yourself on the 3v but I was wondering if you know any good, reliable shops. We live in the same area and was just curious. Love the build 🔥
When I can't do something I usually get GI Garage on Hwy 9 to do it for me (except for this exhaust welding. he was busy but I lowkey should have waited to let him do it). I found that place last fall bc I didn't really trust anyone else with this. They're a veteran run shop and Michael that runs it is awesome. I talk to him a good amount and he's a great dude. Plus their labor rates are lower than almost any place around for the same if not better quality work. If you end up going there let him now I sent ya haha
Kurgan Motorsports is also good but they focus on more performance oriented stuff. That's where you go when you wanna go fast. They've got a dyno over there for tuning and he's pretty a cool guy, knows a lot abt 3v's. Shop rate is pretty pricey though, but worth it depending on your problem. He's got mixed reviews from everyone, but from my experience with him he's been great and extremely helpful with my tune problems when Lito wasn't responding. Just know if he quotes you on labor add a couple hours lol. Wasn't bad tho. All in for the new motor, swap, and switching all my new parts over I was quoted 6300 and I paid 7200 after tax and fluids. So not too far off but yeah. For me, its Kurgan for "go fast" stuff, GI for everything else... I have no problem spending more money on the engine specific/technical things, and saving money on the rest
my dad had been with a shop for probably 15-20 yrs and immediately after talking to Michael switched over to him for all the rest of our cars. my dad is pretty picky with that kinda stuff as well if that says anything
@@juvijatt3282 funny story about the subs, they haven’t worked since I bought the car. In my old truck I installed two 10’s which was relatively easy, but whoever put these in this car created a wiring nightmare. I think I’m better off taking these out and buying one 8 or something. but yes when I end up doing that I’ll make a video on it. a full sound system isn’t first on the list but it’s definitely on the list
One of the baddest 3Vs I have seen 😮💨
thanks man!
Love the car man, nice to see someone modding one like this even at high mileage
some people think its stupid, I think its awesome. The goal is to hit 500k miles pushing at least 500 wheel haha

Sounds great! But damn, that exhaust shop did you dirty welding it to the over axle pipes, hope they never need to come out lol
