I like it I like it a lot is it just me or is that blade giving off les George vibes ? Whatever I like I.want I doubt if I will end up with it lol. Stay safe and healthy J&K have a beautiful day both
OMG 😲 I love the farum forge knife Designs, their actions an build Quality is impeccable, also their knives can stand the test of time. There just so BA!!!
Forum forge has some awesome designs. This one is very reminiscent of a premium praxis if one was ever done. Mind you the sharpening/finger choil makes it great for hands of any size. love the blade shape and profile of the entire knife. Looks like such a great working knife with the drop point and the knife pointing downward along with the thin edge will make short work of any cutting you have to do. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
The ultimate Praxis. I didn’t get it because I did not like the new Backspacer and went with the Artisan valor is a hair thicker. Those clear resin cF scales civivi offers on the praxis is really nice
I just got a stinger button lock by ff and this has to be the most solid and smooth feeling knife. Finally found some titanium that feels like titanium.
This knife didn't initially speak to me. I had the pleasure to handle it in person and it definitely needs to be looked at and handled up close. Great ergos, blade geometry, full size finger choil, and overall my favorite size for a pocket knife. I love the construction of the knife and how there is no back separate back spacer; simply precision milling and engineering. Still haven't pulled the trigger on this knife, but I just might after watching this video and putting down a few shots of Jameson. If it had a different finish, such as the mini Malice, or my favorite knife of all time, The Malice 911B Flamed Ti, or as I like to refer to as, "The Malice -Tiger Shark" I would have already bought 3. Great vid!🤘🏼👊🏼
Figured you would pick this beauty up. It’s sweet! I still want that 3.0 and have a sweet hollow put on it like yours. Mike liked that clip on the new one.
My Archbishop 3.0 is my favorite knife in my collection. More than my xm18 even. The action, looks, materials, just awesome! Needs a new pocket clip but that’s the only complaint
I have a lot of budget knife videos if you want to watch, look for my top or best videos. I really don't have 1 because it depends on for what, and for how much, under 50$ I have about 5 favorites but once you go over 50 I have a new list, the civivi praxis, and backlash are great, the cmb Predator is great, the civivi riffle, the kubey momentum etc, civivi elementum and button lock version, the new Kizer domin that I showed in yesterday's video is amazing its the new hollow version
Damn Jerad , that looks like a sweet knife , I really like it !! It also looks super easy to disassemble for maintenance, But I just purchased a BladeHQ exclusive Shaman in DLC coated M4 blade and liners with green Micarta scales , there still in stock as we speak , I will put this one on my list though
Page kept stuttering at release time. Told everyone at work to leave me alone until I finish something (my purchase) lol . was worried it was going to sell out.
@@timnichol6566 I love the Wii mini malice the blade is so thin and spicy you wouldn't think for being a titanium button lock but the ergos are really good as well because of the finger choil even if you have larger hands you can get a full grip on the knife so it's definitely a highly recommended knife a little on the heavy side but nothing crazy the only reason I even say anything about the wait is because I've been loving on the lightweight para 3 and mannix 2 from Spyderco lately
Great review!! Like every time ! Could you tell me, witch angle you would sharp this 20cv slicer to have the better benefits ?? I use hapstone R2, matrix stones .. Thanks a lot !! 🤜🏻🤛🏻👍🏻
@@labuse7490 yeah 17 is what i rec but if your not doing anything tough with your edge and its only used for cutting purposes through normal materials and you want a very slicey and super sharp edge 15 is good. the allurus has good geometry for either one, anywhere between 15 and 18 is a good area imo, i think i did around 16 17 on mine but i have put a couple edges on it so far
The Benchmade Bugout, or the CIVIVI baby banter if you want something really small, also the 3 small knives from this video are linked in description are also great
I love FF designs as well! Really should check out Artisan Cutlery Valor. Also, just got the Archbishop and sadly the blade is favoring the clip side. Hopefully I can adjust it but kind of a bummer at the price point. Fantastic otherwise though.
The valor is super nice . I’ve had it since summer and it super smooth hydraulic . It’s one of the more premium feeling knives and the cutouts match and it’s not slippery with the bar . Very good action . I’m ordering this one now . I found a cheap cheap place to order new 👍
For premium materials done at a high level, great fit finish and tolerances, designed by a USA reputable knife maker, I think it's good, but there's a lot of other more affordable options
I bet you can make a ton of money putting holes in the blades of these knives for people. I would pay Jared to cut a slot or a hole in the blade for me. I can't do it myself because I don't have the tools or a place to really work either and I'm betting alot of other people are the same way.
The lockbar relief on ANY framelock should always be on the inside. Too many knives are ruined because the relief is on the outside, and it causes the knife to hang in the pocket. If it's bad enough that I don't want to carry the knife, I get rid of the knife.
Reminds me of the Praxis blade shape and geometry. This looks amazing!
totally. I knew it reminded me of a knife. couldn't put my finger on it.
My thoughts too.
It's the same design
The blade shape is identical
Exactly

Everyone was saying it looks like a premium praxis I can also see the les as well
I'm glad to hear such an experienced knife guy like these so much. I just got the Archbishop and I think it's so sleek and classy!

That looks just like the civivi praxis. And I always thought the praxis was a ferrum forge design.
Yeah it kind of does, for sure the praxis looks like a ff design and this is a great example if what a premium praxis would be
So far every Ferrum forge design Iv e handled has been most excellent , only 4 but 4/4 good ones. They came well tuned .
Nice, I’ve had the one w/ cf inlay in my EBay cart for a few weeks now. Glad to see your review before making a final decision. Thanks man, BANG!!
Looks like a ti frame lock praxis to me. I like it!!!

You should the 3.0 is badass, the best action of all the ferum forge imo
@@NeevesKnives I know! I need to get a job again. My wife gets pissy buying expensive knives 😂.
I like these ferum forge designs. The we/civivi definitely more in my range and added to my list.
A hole deployment in the shape of the pivot would be clean as hell 😉
Absolutely

I edc my mini malice alot and I've had to tighten my pivot a few times since I got it
You can definitely tell it's a ferrum forge knife lol they have an extremely specific and similar look to all their knives
Finally a premium Praxis.
Genuinely thought it was just a titanium Praxis at first

Looks like a super nice praxis!
So I finally picked up a F.F. /WE collaborated designed blade the Mini Malace button lock
How do you like the size? Looks a little small for my hands.

Nice lines. Hopefully they will produce a model in micarta or G10, more affordable and looks better IMO.
So, the Allurus or Archbishop 3.0??!
Nice video Got any recommendations for a smaller size knife to take for runs with a deep carry clip
The Benchmade Bugout, or the CIVIVI baby banter if you want something really small, also the 3 small knives from this video are linked in description are also great
I just got the Archbishop 3.0 and I love it!!

Oh boy that one is nice
That’s such a dope blade great shit man!
This a damn near perfect knife wow
Yes it is
It looks kinda like a stretched out version of a Sencut Tynan, really awesome knife.
Reminds me of a Les George design
Absolutely looks just like a Les George.
Thanks for sharing like that alot
who is the guy you said did your re-grind?
Just curious why you don't have a Blade HQ affiliate link since you are one of the biggest knife channels. Conflicting affiliation with another site?
They are hard to get … I applied for their affiliate program and I had to email them every week for almost a year before I got a response
Basically the og primo praxis
This is the way
This vs WE Subjugator...gO......Go....I said GO!
Hey nice pick up
Think it would look cooler with a hole and no flipper tab
I think it looks good
Seems nice but idk if it's $280 nice...

Ferum Forge Praxis?
Premium paraxis basically, I likey

Have any spare knives?
Tons, I give them to my patreons
Who did the regrind?
Bgm knives

I agree, some are ridiculous and it makes carrying it a complete hassle, why would I want to ruin my cloths over my knife when I don't have to
Just finished your earlier video! You do a fine job at keeping me entertained! 🗡️🔪
Why would they have released this if the Archbishop is already out? Not much of a difference?
How is it awesome when it has poor performance 20cv and that high of a price tag??????
Who said it has poor performance 20cv?
I think you are mixing your steels up 20cv is a pretty high performance steel

All that exposed blade when it's closed is begging for a hole or a fuller to open it if the blade is not too thin.
Praxis on steroids.
If it had a hole it would literally be the archbishop 3.0 which is unfortunate, seems like Ferum forge guys are running out of design ideas
Too similar to a praxis
I think that's a good thing, I've always wanted a premium one
