Sip It or Skip It: Bull Run 9 Year American Single Malt

- In this video I will review Bull Run a 9 year old American single malt out of Oregon and let you know if I will sip on it until the bottle is gone and buy it again or if I will skip buying it once the bottle is gone and replace it with something else.
May sample giveaway rules:
US only (sorry to everyone outside the US).
Giveaway will open on May 1st and end June 26th at 11:59pm 2024.

Very sorry for your loss guys. I always wonder how most american single malts would fare if they weren't aged in new oak.
Thank you. It has been my experience that American single malts have been good for the most part. At least the ones I have in my collection. I think this one was just too sweet for my palate. Cheers!

I' have tasted a few Bull Run releases and the only one that stood out for me was their 7 year old Madeira cask finished single malt. I suspect the only reason for that is my love for Madeira fortified wine. Cheers 🥃
That makes sense. I think I remember tasting a sample of one of their single malts at the distillery that was finished in a maple syrup barrel. Way too sweet!

She's BACK! Sweet!! I have to admit I love Whisky more than Bourbon. JUST ME, DON'T HATE 🤠🤠 I think I will skip this one. Thanks for the review. If you can get it where your at, I think you should try the Old Soldier Whiskey out of Tacoma WA. More specifically the 4X4 Whiskey.

Especially if you incorporate the contents from this bottle. Molecularly, it will always be in there.
I got the Bull Run 15 yr American SM finished in Pinot Noir($49) and I love it. The Bourbon Wrench and Whiskey Channel Dotcom did a 16 yr barrel pick 119 proof I think of it. I'm gonna get a couple I think, $47 + fees.

If you bought that bottle from the store, it is most likely not a single malt, but what they call “American Whiskey “. I have it on my shelf, and according to their website it’s 99% corn and 1% malted barley. It is, otherwise , very tasty, and I think it gets better a few weeks/couple of months after opening.
