We visited Rome in late 2018, in celebration of our anniversary (we married in Italy). We completely fell in love with the city. Today is our anniversary again and while we can’t make it to Italy this year, this beautiful video is a wonderful alternative.
Thank you so much :) if it was up to me you would be doing non stop Italy but hope you do some Museum tours in Italy as well. My big goal in life at the moment is saving up for a one month stay in Rome to visit as many museums and classical historical sites as possible. And at least a few walks up and down the via Appia :)
If you love Rome so much, you may consider moving there someday. I also had a goal similar to you. I visited Rome last year and it was amazing. I hope that I will be able to move here in the future :D
We are staying for 5 nights in Rome as part of a 3 week Italy trip this fall. It will be amazing. Those 5 days will be very busy, including one full guided tour day of the Colosseum and the Forum with a private guide. No big tour group for us, having to wear wireless earbuds and being herded around. One guide, two of us. It will be amazing.
If you are really interested in visiting museums and art galleries for a month, I could advice you some less-known and non touristic places to visit in Rome.
I have been watching this “walk” for over 3 hours and I am really enjoying it. Is it just me or is it more crowded in Rome than even pre-pandemic? Thanks for braving the crowds and bringing this home to me. Every time my husband walks into the room, his comment: “You are on vacation!” I look forward to your summer walks 2023…for me, your summer walks are my favorites. Thanks again.

@@kensellar hi ken.we went to Rome for five nights last August it was incredibly hot.stayed at the Roma Centro Colloseo, a beautiful hotel 250 metres from the Colloseum,with a view of it and a rooftop pool!!! It was a stunning place to stay,but yes expensive. We did all The usual suspect visits, Vatican museum Castel st Angelo etc. We used Prowalks previous video walk but reversed the direction and did it at night for the more comfortable temperature and to see the night lights.Started at pont st Angelo on the tiber and finishing at the Trevi fountain, much less crowded at night and very pretty.Ate quite a bit at Trastevere and just off, NOT ON Piazza navona. Hope this is some help, happy travels!

Mas nesse conteúdo de Roma senti a falta de mais detalhes.....por exemplo, o que foi no passado o Pantheon, a história dessas ruínas maravilhosas. Amei o Coliseu, mas esperava ver um pouco mais de perto e saber realmente a história original dele. Vi riqueza de detalhes subscritas com respeito à história da Cidade. Roma tem uma maravilhosa história e não li nada disso. Mas Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi e Atranti me encantaram pela riqueza de imagens e informações detalhadas de cada pedacinho, da muralha... Hey Rik, good to hear from you. So, I am living in WA now. We moved back at the end of last summer so the kiddos could spend more time with family. I really love it! The layout is terrific. I don’t love how small the bathroom is and the layout. I would switch the toilet and shower and put the shower across the whole back of the bathroom. The chapel is charming!! Seems a little expensive because it needs work and the entry way is a little awkward and the monthly fees would have me a little worried….especially since two places next door to each other are up for sale. Makes me think the building needs work and the sellers don’t want to get stuck paying for repairs…maybe? Just a guess. But it is a beautiful space, I especially like the straightforward layout.♥️🇮🇹

Hey, thanks. No, I actually quit and moved my family back to the states to be closer with family. We originally planned to be there 2 years and ended up staying there almost 8. I'm not longer teaching though. Just doing this UA-cam channel full time now. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

On average, not luxury, how much would one need to spend a month in Italy visiting major cities (Rome, Milan, Florence, Venice) and major sites?
@@angelaarnold9835 I did check apartment costs in Rome and the range is from 400 euros to 5000 euros a month.

I really love it! The layout is terrific. I don’t love how small the bathroom is and the layout. I would switch the toilet and shower and put the shower across the whole back of the bathroom. The chapel is charming!! Seems a little expensive because it needs work and the entry way is a little awkward and the monthly fees would have me a little worried….especially since two places next door to each other are up for sale. Makes me think the building needs work and the sellers don’t want to get stuck paying for repairs…maybe? Just a guess. But it is a beautiful space, I especially like the straightforward layout.♥️🇮🇹

Hey, thanks. No, I actually quit and moved my family back to the states to be closer with family. We originally planned to be there 2 years and ended up staying there almost 8. I'm not longer teaching though. Just doing this UA-cam channel full time now. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
