COLISÉE ET LE FORUM sont impressionnants. C’est une ville chargée d’histoire elle est faite de quartiers différents les uns des autres’ de ruelles moyenâgeuses et puis la vie romaine est différente de toutes les autres villes d’Italie. Been there many years ago. No awards for being clean ,but tried to overlook that. Have to be careful crossing a side street, a Mercedes can come roaring down the street , out of nowhere. Walking over to Vatican city, easy and very close. Good 🍕 there,but owner in restaurant ,very impatient with Americans. Heavy security at Rome Airport . But overall worth the 8 hrs flight from New York via Delta Airlines. Ciao. Grazie. 🇮🇹 😊

A wonderful day for filming it looks so green. I wonder if there are more gardens to take footage of. I was thinking I wish I could do go-pro footage for such things as the botanical gardens I love to visit. I missed the Roman forum when visiting Rome in 2019 because I got caught in such a downpour in the palatine hill area, I had to go back to the apartment and change clothes.
Yes. You can buy a ticket there or online. If you buy a ticket to see the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are included in the same ticket.
Question- you mention the cost of a Forum entrance ticket at one point. We have a tour guide booked to take us through the Forum and Colosseum for the day when we visit later this year, and she tells me that there is no onsite purchase of tickets anymore since Covid began. She was telling me that you must pre-purchase. What have you heard?
Yeah, that's accurate...at least since when I went. It doesn't seem like the best method so hopefully they change it back. I always buy my tickets for the Colosseum and Forum at www.coopculture.it/en/products/ticket-colosseum-forum-and-palatine-_24h/

Hey, thanks! I think back before the forum was dug out, that opening was much closer to ground level, and someone lived up there. I wrote about in my first Roman Forum walk but forgot to mention it in this on. ...it was something like that, but I don't remember the details.

I have been 4 times, and Im finally bringing the family over in July of this year. I can't wait! Almost went to school there in 2002(Amer. University of Rome), but wound up studying ancient history elsewhere. I just learned the closed captions provide more information. Now I get to go back and rewatch all of your videos..pity me.
