    This looks so helpful :) Can you create an action from existing animation at all?

      Yes. Create a new action (By default, you will be inside of that action now). Now, in the Actions window, click once on "Mainline" and then press the Copy button.
      The mainline animation from the selected layer (and all the animation inside if it is a group/bone/switch/etc.) will be copied into that new action.

    A way to duplicate actions and assign or remove a control bone would be nice

    Nice tutorials! Help a lot. If you have added two action references to your timeline. Say a walk cycle and a run cycle. Is it possible to blend between them?

      Yes. You can insert two actions at different times in the timeline and automatically get an interpolation between them. For example, having a character walking and smoothly start running
