My favorite The Balm eyeshadow is the foiled shadow palette. I took it on a business trip and it worked well! I loved the balance of cool and warm tones.

This seems like it would be great for travel (once I feel comfortable traveling again once covid settles down). The cool tone one is my favorite of the 2. Whoever names these shades is very creative. 😁
The Balm is a soft slightly creamy texture. Somewhat similar to Lorac eyeshadows. I love their grab and go palettes.

Thank you for this video! I want to buy one of those palettes but it's available online only and I can't check it myself. Vol 1 really appeals to me, but now I 'm not sure about those shimmers :/ My undertone is really cool, so I wonder if vol 2 won't be too warm for me, especially blush.

I bought the vol 1, and I totally agree regarding the shimmers shades. They have microglitter and give me fallout all over. They really are a pain, even with glitter glue and a setting spray. I wish I would have purchased the vol 2 :-(

Hi, this review was very helpful:) I was wondering if the blush from Vol 2 can also be used as an eyeshadow? Have you tried it?
Because I'm hesitating between the Vol 2 and the nude beach pallette but buying the two of them feels like "too much" of the same.. (talking about the brown shades)
Marie 1358 i have it, and all the shades ( regardless if it is blush, bronzer, or hi lighter) can double as an eyeshadow! it even says on the package :))

Oooh that's a tough one. I do love the Balms In the Balm of Your Hand! That's one of my favorites! And then Tarte comes out with those great circle shaped ones!
yesss I love this eyelook! I was contemplating buying this pallete tonight since they're having their half off sale but I wasn't sure until I watched this video. It's kind of reminding me of some of the shades that they have in their balm voyage pallete.

Just found vol. 2 for $8 at TJ Maxx.
Hi i dont have any of these eyeshadows because they dont inspire me. Also how do you know which colour eyeshadow to put together with the transition shade as sometimes mine clash. As always an informative video. Happy halloween from the UK stay safe
Thanks!! Happy belated Halloween too you too!! I typically try to keep them in the same color family or tone. So if I'm wearing a purple, I'll try to pair it with a slightly more taupey shade. And a gold with a warmer crease shade, etc.
But then sometimes I get crazy and will put contrasting colors right next to each other and have to do a lot of blending! Hehe!

Just bought whole face balm cosmetics, got vol 2. Prices going up balm seem reasonable, loreal costing 14 dollars pop, save few dollars buy some higher makeup
