Affinity Photo is a great software program. Its problem is that it would take a life time to learn its intricacies. Quickly approaching the age of 79, I have used most of that lifetime. So, I must rely on the talent of folks like you to short cut the learning process. You do a masterful job with your clear and concise manner as wells the selection of topics that fuel my interests. What would be the quickest way to do a selection of a tree with the background showing through the leaves and branches
Channels! I don't have a video created myself yet but that's what you'll use - do a quick search on how to use channels for isolations. It works great for things like trees.
That was really useful. The Affinity help files are a bit sparse on what the blend modes actually do, so it's good to see one in action! Also at ua-cam.com/video/uOCiD9DLsFI/v-deo.html that was a inadvertent but very cool and easy way of making a silhouette!
