One of the most fascinating aquariums that I’ve been to, is in ‘Riley’s’ Aquarium Myrtle Beach, SC. We took our newly graduated niece (and her best friend) there and had a very nice time. When you enter into that aquarium, it’s as if you can walk (and breathe 🤔🙂) under the water. So many fish of all sizes to see, plus a few sharks. Just as we were going to enter the opening, a child about 4-5 years old, shot past us - - with many adults chasing him. He was loudly screaming over and over again, “the shark - gonna eat me”!! North Myrtle beach is very nice too.
There's one in ?? Pigeon Forge, Tennessee ?? as I fuzzily recall... or maybe officially Gatlinburg: Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg, TN. I think Atlanta, GA, has one of the biggest in the world.
I was in the aquarium business for about 20 years. I have been out of the business and hobby for about 10 years now. I have built and installed some big aquariums. I also serviced them. Most of the aquariums you see in this video are an aquarium service mans nightmare. Especially the tall narrow ones. The one going over the bed in the football players house is one I would not want to build or service. I have seen a few cases where the aquarium splits or cracks (if glass) and you can guess how big the mess was. Can you imagine the headboard one breaking open while you're sleeping? The one on the stairs looks to be an easy service though. The closer to the floor the top of the aquarium is the easier it is to service. Ladders make servicing much harder.

I'm a major animal lover also. I've had raccoons possums dogs cats lizards and a baby alligator until he was a little bit over 3 and 1/2 ft. when I lived in Louisiana. I did have a bearded dragon and he died here recently and it just about killed me because that was my baby boy. His name was Rumpelstiltskin and I called him Rumples for short. I didn't keep him in an aquarium I let him have free roam in my apartment. He slept with me a lot of the times. I sleep in a recliner because of my back and neck problems. So he usually laid at the top of my head on the recliner cushion. The vet said my bearded dragon was the biggest one he had ever seen and he said that he used to raise them and had always had them since he was young. He said the longest they will grow is to 2 ft. in length. My rumples was over two and a half feet but it's because I allowed him to have free roam of my apartment since I have had him and I had put his heating lamps and his other lights fixed to the walls and there was bedding under each of the lights I basically had that area fixed up like an aquarium and he loved it and I made him different things to climb on and bought him an artificial tree to climb up and lay on the branches. What's crazy is whenever you looked at the tree you could not find him because he blended in perfectly. And I mean so perfectly that I have had to take and feel all over the tree limbs just to find him. Lol. The only animal that I do not like are snakes and spiders. What's really weird is those two are my major, and I do mean major fears. My oldest daughter had pet tarantulas after she grew up and moved away from home. My son has a pet snake and he's had quite a few of them. My two worst fears in the whole entire world and my daughter loves one of them and my son loves the other. That's just major unbelief on my part. They never did ask me to buy them one because they know how bad I fear spiders and snakes. But when they grew up and got their own places is when they had the snakes and the spiders. If I was at their home they would put them up somewhere before I got there because they knew I wouldn't step inside if they was right there where I could see them.
This was fascinating to watch. I love the ocean and being able to go to a restaurant underwater would be great. At the rate things are going with global warming, before too long I just might be seeing sea life up really close.
These are all incredible!! Especially the Maldives hotel, I'd feel like a mermaid staying there lol. But unfortunatley it'll never happen with that price tag lmfao, not unless I win the lottery or something.
I once helped a friend build an entire bar around a massive aquarium. The bar was L shaped, with the aquarium in the long part. We built it using mostly 2x4s and then trim and panels around the outside. For the bar top, I tiled it and even tiled in a chess/checker board on the corner, so two people sitting at the bend of the L could play chess. Only bad part was, we built this inside his basement, and it was so large and heavy, there's no way to move it without taking it all apart lol. Still, it looked awesome when it was completed. We even ran LED light strips around to give it a glow.
yup i don't get how this is more accepted than if it was a cat, you dont see people putting cats in 1-metre cages with nothing but themselves but people do it with fish? why? what makes the fish's life any less valuable? a lot of them are capable of complex emotions yet it's more accepted than cats with similar intellegence.

I love fish tanks. Had a few! Before you buy remember; even a small tank needs to be cleaned more than you think. It always cost me 2 hours I couldn't afford. But I love fish and they are lots of fun. Now I just go to the park!!! 🤗
The aquarium at the Phoenix boardwalk has a sink that is next to the shark tank so as you wash your hands a whole bunch of sharks pass you. It’s a good way to make sure people stay long enough to properly wash their hands I guess.
Keeping fish is a lot harder than you think. Every plant, fish, snail, shrimp ect you can put in your tank has specific requirements when it comes to water parameters (levels of ph, kh, gh, nh3, no2, no3, po4, co2 ect ect ect... in the water) you need to test and maintain this stuff weekly. Next thing is biological filtration. The real purpose of a filter is to house beneficial nitrifying bacteria wich (explained in unprofessional terms) turn toxic stuff from all the waste in your tank to less toxic stuff, wich can be removed by waterchanges later on (25-40% waterchange once a week if the tank is not fully balanced (all water parameters just right + having enough plants in the right conditions(right amount of lighting, co2, "the toxic stuff") so the plants can use all the toxic stuff for growth => no waterchanges needed.)) Next thing is stocking. Every fish has restrictions on how many of what gender in what volume of water in a tank of what lengt, hight ect. For example all species of tetras need to be kept in schools of atleast 6 fish. They prefer having longer tanks, a little higher flow...... yea, i hope you get it. I could go on forever. This is literally the absolute minimum you need to know and understand to be a good fishkeeper. It sounds extremely hard, but with enough research it becomes realy easy. It just needs work and patience
@@MS-vw6vj doubt i can say from experience saltwater is around the same lvl as what you explained here exept we water change less water around 10% weekly test weeky and dont add any co2 we test mostly on oxigin sallinety alcholinnety calcium magnesiun phosphate nintrate and amonia and fill the tank every day with fresh water that has been filtered by a rodi filter because of eveperating water we font need to gravel vac becouse we have sandshifting fish that do the same thing with the current takes to the skimmer we just need to clean the collection cup twice a week

I use to babysit for people who had a huge aquarium instead of a wall. If you took the backing off the aquarium, you can see the inside of the garage from the family room
I saw someone made small fish tank cars for their train set. Each had its own gravel and filtration system. Not sure what scale it was but it had to be on the larger end.
This is fish abuse. Toy trains are usually pretty small and if he intends to activate the train it won’t be healthy for the fish. Assuming it’s not anything like Walt Disney’s toy train I highly doubt it’s actually good.
@@smashbrosguyt915 this was most likely g scale which can be about as large as your forearm and the train ran slowly. Plus I doubt it was meant as a permanent tank as any train enthusiast will tell you it is always best to cut power to the rails when not in use by typically unplugging the power/ control unit. That would mean the on board filters would stop working as soon as power left the tracks. It was a short clip of the train but I would hazard to guess it was done as some sort of promotional stunt not for private use.
Honestly, one of the EASIEST ways to learn to hold your breath longer, is just that! Holding your breath as long as you can is just exercising your lungs to be able to hold air longer and longer. Though there is a limit to this.
That "fence" at 4:30 is horrible! There is *nothing* to create any kind of environment for the creatures trapped in it. No sand, rocks, vegetation, or any kind of cover from the overhead sun to be seen anywhere. This is plain cruelty. 😑😑
Tanked once built a tank that extends the entire entryway to a church with 3 doors going through the tank and into the main chapel area. Tanked has had any number of tanks they have built that could make this list. And there also is a huge walkthrough aquarium in the Mall of America.
Yeah, that one took them three years, I think, because the church was built around the thing. Saw the Nail Polish Bottle one in person. It was pretty cool.
14:01 That tub should NEVER exist! Please, no one ever make it. You soak in the tub, great, while you enjoy your hot bath those poor fish are having there water temp climb up and likely past save levels. Then think about a the noise. Ever notice how so many tanks have signs saying not to tap on the glass? There’s a reason for that. Now take that tapping and multiply that by thousands as the shower runs. Poor fishys 🐠☹️

Where are the ecosystems in some of these tanks? The fish wall looks awful. The fish get baked by the sun unless the walls have a strong UV resistance. Still, no plant life, hiding places, nothing. It's definitely over crowded. If you're going to spend thousands of dollars, I just don't get it. It's better than a fish in a bowl with no oxygen flow or filter, but damn. The labor that goes into cleaning...wow. My 10 gallon is enough of a chore for me.
its called aquaponics and it is a form of farming used in many locations. that setup was about as small as you can get. most of the time its thousands of fish and plants being raised. it is one of the cleanest ways to grow food and raise fish to eat
I've been keeping aquariums since 1994. Great hobby 👍. I currently have two nano aquariums: a planted 2 gallon desk tank with a blue plakat betta at work and a planted 5.5 gallon at home with shrimps and snails (debating what fish to add).
@@benedictcorpuz5582 you can't combine Bettas together in the same tank or else they will fight each other. I recommend at least 2-5 gallons for each Betta
Sadly, many of these are just animal abuse for profit. Things such as the toilet, sink and piano are really cruel for various reasons that any fish keeper with a brain cell or two would know. Apart from the cruel ones this was a great video with some amazing aquariums.
The fish abuse is this video is astounding, filled with overstocking, tacky and horrible ideas too. Sadly, it doesn't stop there either. Quite a handful of these tanks really don't do justice to the fishkeeping hobby and gives budding aquarists the wrong ideas. People who agree with me | | V
As someone who has bin in to the hobby for 14years i don't recommend anything that was Intergraded in bathroom furnature and the bowl is something that should be strait up illegal they is a reason why pet stores in belgium are not allowed to sell them anymore. the tank in the table was not a good idea forst you can only make it work on freshwater and also the idea of spilling a drink in there. the reason that lobby thank doesn't have corals is because it had trigger and saltwater angel fish swimming into the tank that are know to eat corals. I do own a 200gallon coral reef in my liveing room with is a really nice tank and i enjoy that one a lot i got a lot of rare hammer corals in there that i grow for hobbists to enjoy planning to get a 2000gallon fish only tank in about a year or 2 inside my gameing room also on the turkish tank your 100% right it is overstocked its giveing me goldfish in a bowl vibes and i own goldfish that are 30 centimeters long Inmagine that in a 2g bowl😫 its like putting a child in a closest its hole life
I also think the tanks integrated into the pianos must be awful for the fish inside. You get signs like "don't tap on the glass" in aquariums because fish can feel the sound vibrations through the water so imagine what living inside a piano would do to them.

He said the longest they will grow is to 2 ft. in length. My rumples was over two and a half feet but it's because I allowed him to have free roam of my apartment since I have had him and I had put his heating lamps and his other lights fixed to the walls and there was bedding under each of the lights
I basically had that area fixed up like an aquarium and he loved it and I made him different things to climb on and bought him an artificial tree to climb up and lay on the branches.

Remember when Al Gore said the same thing…… in 2003? 😂
Hey be amazed can you please make a video about video games that haven't been played for a long time
These are all incredible!! Especially the Maldives hotel, I'd feel like a mermaid staying there lol. But unfortunatley it'll never happen with that price tag lmfao, not unless I win the lottery or something.
I strongly disagree! Just a few are awesome, but most of that is just plain animal abuse.
@@catman64k I agree with you. How is the fence one “awesome” when it is blatant abuse?
I have an Aquaponics system where I raise fish and circulate their water through grow beds to grow plants and clean the water. Works great.
That one with the fence tank is absolutely overcrowded. He shouldn't have put so many fish in
My Pet fish recently passed away and this video brought back so much memories
Aww 😥🤧
Do you put your fish in a bowl?
I once helped a friend build an entire bar around a massive aquarium. The bar was L shaped, with the aquarium in the long part. We built it using mostly 2x4s and then trim and panels around the outside. For the bar top, I tiled it and even tiled in a chess/checker board on the corner, so two people sitting at the bend of the L could play chess. Only bad part was, we built this inside his basement, and it was so large and heavy, there's no way to move it without taking it all apart lol. Still, it looked awesome when it was completed. We even ran LED light strips around to give it a glow.
The next home aquariums video you do can you actually talk about custom home aquariums?
8:00 the aquadom sadly did brake
The plant with fish model is called hydroponic agriculture. It’s really meant for growing the plants, the fish used are not particularly great to eat.
i love how half of these are extremely cruel to the fish
yup
i don't get how this is more accepted than if it was a cat, you dont see people putting cats in 1-metre cages with nothing but themselves but people do it with fish? why? what makes the fish's life any less valuable? a lot of them are capable of complex emotions yet it's more accepted than cats with similar intellegence.

Hi
@@brandonmartin5888 hello bro
I love fish tanks. Had a few! Before you buy remember; even a small tank needs to be cleaned more than you think. It always cost me 2 hours I couldn't afford. But I love fish and they are lots of fun. Now I just go to the park!!! 🤗
The aquarium at the Phoenix boardwalk has a sink that is next to the shark tank so as you wash your hands a whole bunch of sharks pass you. It’s a good way to make sure people stay long enough to properly wash their hands I guess.
Homer:"Uh, your fish are dead." Disco Stu: "Yeah,I know. I can't get them out of there."
And it gets even harder with salt water...
more people need to know this.
All I'm able to keep saying to myself over & over while watching this is WOW, nonstop!
5:31 and there’s no shelter for even the EELS. How sad.
It’s funny that this came out today, because I’m going to an aquarium fish club auction tomorrow.
The aquarium of Mehmet is straight animal abuse!! Thousands of fishs in a aquarium this narrow without any stones, sand or corals is irresponsible.
It looked terrible!
Yes I would
For the water saving device why not use a fake fish! Think it would be a great idea especially for kids and still have the same effect.
🐼 Big Panda Bear Hugs from a 68 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼 ❤ 🎀 ❤ 🎀 ❤ 🎀
All of this look amazing!!!
Yeah It Does! 😄
Blowing bubbles into a bottle of water is my daily physiotherapy exercise for my COPD. Due to heart conditions I can't just go out running.
8:07 and the aquarium did break today 😂
The fish tank heels gave me a great idea for resin fish tank heels. Fake fish in a resin tank on my heels!
The teacher bowl probably stresses the fish out, possibly to death
a house near my grandparents house has a huge fish tank with kois outside their house it looks rlly cool tbh they take good care of the fish
Wow, dude really wanted a tank if he built his house around it. It is awesome, but costly. If you have it though, sure is nice. Now dudes fish tank fence was awesome too, but seems like that is an amazing deal. Was fun to watch. Great video
@@godismyjudge4964 Ok. Thanks for reassuring me.
8:33 Fun fact. That Aquadom did break a few years back and flooded the area. There's a video on youtube of it.
It was pretty cool.
the aquadome at 8.10.. it DID BURST.
Mehmet’s tank is terribly overstocked. :(
The closest I’m ever getting to any of these is buying lemonade from the kid who’s saving up for a new fish tank.
That aquarium that is a fence is cruel as it doesn’t give room for natural movements. If anyone wants to put a fish in a shoe they should be ashamed
I keep fish and I love them.
No need to go to an actual aquarium when you can be amazed at home.
Mr. Be amazed can you please do a part two for the video then and now with technology
14:01
That tub should NEVER exist!
Good video
A home aquarium would be awesome not gonna lie.
Got one?
@@SonyEnthusiast nope
The three story house with the underwater bedroom would be really nice to have though, but they are really expensive
@@paullikestacos1464 you have to go extreem man a really good bigginer tank i would recommend is between 40 and 55gallons you ofcouse cannot keep anything in there of course that why i advise research the fish you wanna get first find a tank that is a bit bigger than the recommend size and start from there and just enjoy the hobby and don't rush the tank sabillity is the key to succes in thus hobby i remember in the past i rushed my first reeftank and spend more than a grand on corals just to lose them in 2 weeks just becouse i dont did my research and didnt does give them the elements they needed to grow and stay alive
Keep up the good work bro 😎
I currently have two nano aquariums: a planted 2 gallon desk tank with a blue plakat betta at work and a planted 5.5 gallon at home with shrimps and snails (debating what fish to add).
what for a betta thats quite small
@@clonecommando2125 it's a plakat betta, (short fins), so 2 gallons is enough space. 5 is ideal though, but I don't have enough room on my desk for it
How much gallons do you need for 7 short fins
@@benedictcorpuz5582 you can't combine Bettas together in the same tank or else they will fight each other. I recommend at least 2-5 gallons for each Betta
I love them all
Those poor fish in the tank that goes around the house in turkey. Not much room to swim
Yes
Sadly, many of these are just animal abuse for profit. Things such as the toilet, sink and piano are really cruel for various reasons that any fish keeper with a brain cell or two would know. Apart from the cruel ones this was a great video with some amazing aquariums.
The floating houses: imagine being in bed with your partner doing the thing and one of you suddenly shouts “LOOK THATS A COOL FISH” lol.
😁👏🏾👏🏾
The fish abuse is this video is astounding, filled with overstocking, tacky and horrible ideas too. Sadly, it doesn't stop there either. Quite a handful of these tanks really don't do justice to the fishkeeping hobby and gives budding aquarists the wrong ideas.

best youtuber in world :D
@@Starfyrez your completly right
You jinxed the Berlin Aquarium!
I own fish but I can’t imagine owning these tanks.
Same way to expensive lol...
Which species?
XD 🙂
Well, watching this now, you mentioning the aqua dome not breaking is super eerie, lol.
some amazing tanks but several of them looked almost impossible to clean.
Aquariums aren't that hard to maintain. And they're quite relaxing.
